Effective measures in the production of the component in condition a firm
Hradil, Roman ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this Bachelor thesis is a proposal of conditions, which increase efficiency of manufacturing of the hydraulic distributor. Project was carried out in cooperation with private company S&K TOOLS spol. s r. o., which is based in Brno and focused on manufacturing of engineering parts. First part of thesis is dedicated to the company philosophy, analysis of the part and existing technology of production. Second part of thesis includes concrete proposals of upgrade, including technical and economical evaluation of these modifications.
Verification of surface roughness and recommended cutting conditions after milling using tool with inserts
Novotný, Vojtěch ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis aims at practical testing inserts. The first part includes a theoretical analysis of problems connected with main tested parts. Especially, there is a description of face milling, surface structure after face milling and wear of the cutting tool. Next, an experiment is designed and performed, describing the machine used, the cutting tool, inserts, cutting conditions, material for testing and basic experiment criteria. In last part results of the test are presented and optimal value for cutting speed.
Regenerative chatter in turning
David, Václav ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Fiala, Zdeněk (advisor)
Regenerative chatter in turning negatively affects the cutting process, the tool live and the machined surface. In this work is a vibration discriebed by using mathematical formulas or terms. There are listed some causes of creation vibration in turning and some basic methods of complete removal or partial reduction. The second part of this work contains examples of measure and analysis in connection with using of modern software.
Innovation of a Clamping Jig and Technology for Milling and Punching of Keys
Štancl, Dominik ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a new device for grooving and punching keys. The introductory part is devoted to the history and development of the keys up to the present. It also deals with the individual types of milled and punched semi-finished products and discusses the process of key manufacturing. In the main part, a jig and a feeding mechanism are designed, which ensures the feeding of keys and reliable clamping during machining. Afterwards, the profile surface analysis of the machined surfaces will be made. In the end, the new equipment will be evaluated and compared in terms of selected parameters that affect the functional properties of the final product.
The influence of PVD coating on tool life of cutting inserts during face milling
Jašek, Petr ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is aimed on durability of PVD and CVD coatings for symmetrical face milling. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of cemented carbides, milling technology and the characteristics of the coating methods. The experimental part describes the machine tool, used tools, workpiece material and cutting conditions. The aim of the work was to measure the cutting forces and tool wear during the milling. Based on experiment, it is clear that the PVD coatings with nano-layers achieves to the longer life in comparison with others and generally, that the using of coatings leads to reduction of cutting powers and lifetime was increased.
Production and aplication of 3D FDM deltabot printer
Knapil, Josef ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis describes design and aplication of 3D FDM printer type of delta. The first part describes methods of rapid prototyping. The second part describes 3D printers type of delta. The third part deals with construction and calibration of delta printer. In the fourth part are made suitable modifications to the design of the printer, to improve the quality of printing, which is then applied on a sample product. The final section is devoted to technical and economic evaluation.
Machining of hard-to-machine materials by turning
Švorc, Josef ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is focused on machining of hard-to-machine materials. In the theoretical part hard-to-machine materials are divided and characterized. Furthermore, the thesis specifies hardened steels and their heat treatment, machinability and mechanism of wear and chip formation. There are tool materials and their classes suitable for machining hardened steels. The practical part deals with the influence of the cutting conditions on the roughness of the machined surface when turning hardened steel.
Increasing production effectiveness of recycling blade
Kalenda, Jaromír ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The focus of this thesis is the manufacturing of a waste processing knife from DIN 1.2379 steel. The first part of the thesis defines the man hours required by the current standards and describes the actual man hours used at Pilana Knives s.r.o. The next part deals with the original technical procedures of the manufacturing process. The last part of the thesis proposes and analyses a new and more efficient procedure. The thesis concludes with an assessment of the technical procedures and the total manufacturing cost savings.
Production of hemming nut with usage of electric discharge machine
Šedo, Václav ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kolář, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis dissert on theoretical assessment of electrical discharge machining – it’s fundamentals, history, use, tools and attained characteristics. Furthermore there’s theoretical elaboration on manufacture of hemming nut with usage of this method.
The purpose of design for hand tools
Remeš, David ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the effect of the design on hand tools. In the first theoretical part of this thesis, individual manual operations carried out during manufacturing are being further analyzed. The next part then focuses on the individual aspects of the product design and its influence on the hand tools. Followed by the processing of achieved parameters in handwork. The experimental part of this thesis deals with adjustments of the tap wrench´s handles made for manual cutting of internal threads. The utilization of the material when selecting a semi-finished product from blanks as well as the evaluation of the manufacturing in this way itself are also closely described in this part.
