Individual behavior as the health determination of the students at the University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice

The thesis treats lifestyle and personal behaviour as a main determinant of health. It is based on students of The Health and Social faculty and The Faculty of Education of The University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The theoretical part describes determinative factors, which significantly affect human health, more specifically there are the topics of nutrition, movement, cognitive load, additive and pathologic behaviour, enough sleep, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and so on. It also describes lifestyle in general. Finally, it is based on detailed analysis of each determinant of health and prevention of diseases of civilization. The empirical part summarizes the results of questionnaire survey quantitatively. The aim was to explore lifestyle differences between the students of The Health and Social faculty and The Faculty of Education of The University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The figures show that lifestyle of students of both faculties is very similar, however, some differences were proved. According to last parts of the thesis I deduce, that the students of The Health and Social faculty and The Faculty of Education are quite aware of living healthy lifestyle.

Basics of geometry for students of Teacher Training for primary school.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to prepare study materials for a subject Basics of geometry for students of Primary school teaching. The materials should define the core concepts of secondary school geometry. Part of the materials are also problems with solutions and exercises with results. Software like DGS are an important support for teaching and will be also part of these materials. At the end af each chapter, there are quiz problems which follow Bloom's taxonomy.

Introduction into wxMaxima

The subject of this thesis is creating a brief but complex introduction into the wxMaxima program and its usage for calculations in basic schools and high schools. Part of the thesis are also solved examples and videos for a more transparent presentation of some chosen activities and operations dealt with by using the program.

Marketing strategy of veteran vehicle´s club

Main goals of the thesis are running strategy situation analysis for the club of veteran vehicles, giving analysis of its marketing mix and setting new tools for its future promotion. Recommendations for the marketing procedures are backed up by renewed web space, which contains redaction system and is linked into optimized advertising campaign, too. Research methods were chosen according to considered financial possibilities of the club. They consist of structured interviews with people familiar with the matter, as well as club data analysis and overall statistic data analysis. Expert tools for web designers and consultants were used while creating the web advertising campaign. Conclusions of the thesis lighten the similarities between marketing mix of nonprofit organization and small entrepreneurship. Next, the fresh new site with internet promotion is boosting the money earning activities. At the same time, it speeds up communication both inside and outside of the club, all together strengthening its member's loyalty to the club.
