Labour law issues in the area of professional sports

Title of the thesis: Labour law issues in the area of professional sports Abstract This thesis concerns the relationship between labour law and the specifics of sports and sports activities as a mass society-wide phenomenon with a significant overlap into law. Legislation in the Czech Republic still does not follow the global trend in the area of status of professional sportsmen, which is oriented towards the explicit recognition of sportsmen as employees so the sportsmen are provided with the highest amount of rights possible as the weaker parties in relation to sports clubs. On the contrary, the position of the Czech sportsmen within the legal system is still unclear and the desired clarification is not provided even by the relatively extensive case law of the Supreme Administrative Court. In the vast majority of cases, the Czech sportsmen use the status of self-employment. In general, this thesis will focus on professional team sports, especially the football environment, whose legal framework provides the most suitable sample to demonstrate theoretical conclusions contained herein. For the purposes of comparison, the practice of Great Britain and its legal structure of sports environment will be analysed. Analysis of the Taxi Services in Prague

The bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of the Prague taxi service with the alternative service Uber. The theoretical part is devoted to defining the basic terms which are used in this branch. Subsequently the branch of taxi service is defined, together with all the conditions associated with its operation, with a look back on history. Another part contents brief description of main subjects in the field of classic and alternative taxis. In the practical part, the work first focuses on introducing the Uber company, operating conditions within its services and services itself. The analysis of taxi and Uber driver's input costs follows. The last chapter deals with the development of taxis for the future.
Analysis of a TV programme Máte slovo in terms of semiotics

This bachelor thesis analyses TV discussion programme Máte slovo in terms of its content and structure. This programme is being broadcasted on the public TV station Česká televize. Máte slovo is interesting mainly because of its aiming. Substance of this programme is conflict rather than a discussion. The conflict tightened to the largest possible dimension. This bachelor thesis itself is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part provides necessary knowledge foundation for the analysis which is core of this thesis. In the theoretical part is described pragmatic part of language, system of argumentation, nonverbal communication and theory of drama of Gustav Freytag. In the analytical part is examined mainly content and structure of this programme. Landmark of this part is comparison of two different episodes that are being mutually measured. This part is closed with an examination of nonverbal communication of the host. Thesis is closed with a part where all the findings are being gathered into a conclusion which provides a leash to understand the true substance of this programme.
