The goal of the work: Following previous historical research described in theses in the past, the goal is to collect, sort out and carry out the overall analysis of activities concerning Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové in the given period. My aim was to retain the development and progress in as detailed way as possible. Used methods: The analysis of materials retaining activities of the faculty in given period. The study of organisational and real principles in the List of lectures at Faculty of Pharmacy Hradec Králové, analytic research and the study of Annual reports on the college activity. The analysis and study of materials obtained at different departments, the Centre of Scientific and Librarian Information, Study and Scientific Department of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové play an outstanding role in the process of research. Social and Clinical Pharmacy Department, Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Králové, The Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Background: History and development of the pharmaceutical service in the city Karviná and Havířov from the beginning to the present date. Aim: Map the history of pharmacies and pharmacists in the city Karviná a Havířov from the beginning to the present date. Methods: Processing the historical written resources which were obtained from the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks, State District Archive in Karviná, Museum in Český Těšín and the so far existing chronicles of some pharmacies. Talks with personal observers. Results: The first pharmacy had been established in Karviná probably in 1837. Until 1918, there were three pharmacies in the city Karviná and on the territory of today city Havířov. In years 1918 to 1948, three pharmacies in the select region of the city Karviná and on the territory of today Havířov were opened. After 1948, the oldest pharmacies in Karviná were closed and the next pharmacies were established. Title of diploma thesis: Historical Development of Pharmacy Practice in the Region of Litoměřice Object and purpose of this thesis is an effort to capture the defining features of the historical development of pharmacy in Litoměřice region since ancient times to the present. The problems of pharmaceutical development are observed in close contact with the ups and downs, in general, the specifics of the historical development of the city and surrounding region. It is considered in the meantime in close connection with the major developmental milestones in the health field. The thesis focuses on a chronological description of pharmacies in Litoměřice. The final section is devoted to changes in pharmacy since 1989 and to the current state of pharmacies.

HISTORY OF PHARMACEUTICS IN THE CITY OF LITOMYŠL Author: Jana Půlkrábková Thesis supervisor: Doc. PhDr. František Dohnal, CSc. Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic Thesis target: Outline of historical evolution of pharmacies and pharmacists in Litomyšl from its very beginning up to the present day. Methodology: Elaboration of information from available historical resources, its classification and historical logic arrangement, interviews with owners and employees of individual pharmacies, newer publications and internet websites. Results: First pharmacy appeared in Litomyšl as early as in the year 1383. However, the continuous line of pharmacists begun later in the year 1701 and has been going on up to the present day. From the very beginnings of the town, there had always been just one pharmacy "U Zlaté koruny" and it was not sooner than in 1886 when another pharmacy "U anděla Strážce" was build up. Both pharmacies functioned until 1950 when they were nationalized and taken over by national enterprise Medika. The pharmacy "U Zlaté koruny" was being conducted for four more years by pharmacist and at that time also accountable manager Jiří Řechka until the pharmacy was abandoned in the year 1954. Subject of the thesis: Contribution to the history of the pharmaceutical industry, namely the medicinal products of Remed company; registration of a part of medicinal products collection of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks. Aim: Search and study of archival and other documents to learn and map the history of Remed company, including elaboration of a summary of medicinal products manufactured by the said company from its establishment in 1919 till nationalization in 1946. Registration and filing of a part of medicinal products collection of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum. Methods: Processing of historical written and material sources from the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum in Kuks, central archives of Zentiva a.s., National Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments in Prague, journals, and literature. Results: Relatively detailed and extensive description of the history of Remed company, including the documentary photographs of the medicinal products. A table with a summary of both registered and OTC medicinal products of the company, placed on file from the inventory number 4,498 to 4,993, i.e. the overall number of 495 medicinal products. Jan Babica Title of diploma thesis: Archives of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum XIII. Archival collection Pharmacy Development Centre II. In my thesis I addressed the activity of the Pharmacy Development Center. In particular I dealed with the building up and internal equipment of the pharmacies. My goal was to create an inventory of the part of the archive of the Fond of Pharmacy Development Center which is related to the building up of the pharmacies and to sumarize the norms and their ammendments over the years on which the Pharmacy Development Center took part. Norms in this thesis are presented according to how they were ammended and what they concerned during the building up of the pharmacies. I inventorized a part of the Fond archive according to the registry key. I categorized, moved and discarded the documents. I created an archiving tool - inventory to ease the work of further developers.

Title of diploma thesis: Pharmacy in the region of Usti and its changes in the time Background: Objective of this diploma thesis is taking down outlines of the historical development of pharmacy in the town of Ústí nad Labem from the beginning up to now. The development of pharmacy is following in context of historical development of the town and surrounding region. At the same time there is a connection between principal termini of health service and historical development of pharmacy. This thesis deals with chronological description of particular pharmacies in the town of Ústí nad Labem. The last part is concerned with changes of pharmaceutical service after 1989 up to this date. This thesis also deals with pharmaceutical and chemical industry, its development and changes in time.
