Automatic design of synchronous machines
Fiala, Michal ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problematic of design of synchronous machines. First part is dedicated to descript function and structure of a synchronous machine. The next part describes an algorithm of design of wound rotor and permanent magnets synchronous machines. Based on the described method, the program for automated design of these types of synchronous machines was created in the programming environment Matlab. At the end of the thesis, there are described the results that were achieved within the work.
GSM gate for PLC systems
Kadaňka, Karel ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
The master´s thesis describes the initial design of communication module for industrial automation purposes which can transmit short status messages via the GSM network informing about the status of the connected device to a predefined telephone number. In the first part, the communication protocols are describe and a market survey is carried out. Then follows the evaluation of the market survey and the justification of construction of the device. The following chapters are devoted to the description of the device being developed, its individual components and program description and testing prototype.
Accumulator tester
Pisca, Marek ; Kadlec, Josef (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
This master´s thesis is dealing with the theory of Li-ion accumulators and theirs charching. In this thesis has been designed accumulator tester for automatic charging and discharging of Li-ion accumulator. This tester is controlled by microprocessor.
Control unit for BLDC motor
Krejčí, Ondřej ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
This master„s thesis elaborates with EC motors problematic. There are described essential features of brushless DC motors, their principles, construction and methods for rotor position detection. There are mentioned commonly used control algorithms of EC motors including theory of three-phase convertors. This thesis also contains a complex design of the universal convertor for EC motor and its practical implementation. Power parts losses calculation, heat-sink calculation and measurements at the convertor prototype are also described in this thesis.
Measurement of DC and EC motors characteristics
Chlebný, Radek ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Vondruš, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with commutator direct current motors and electronically commutated motors of company Maxon motor AG. The first part of its deals basic structural elements and focuses on the characteristics of these engines, such as lifetime, revolution properties, efficiency and control methods. The thesis deals with properties, principle of operation and construction of hysteresis brake. Another important theme is improved by the construction of the dynamometer. The last part contains the actual measurement of DC commutator motors assigned Maxon RE and Maxon S, which are loaded with hysteresis brake and final evaluation measurements comparing measured values with the data producer.
A small three phase induction motor
Klíma, Petr ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Mach, Martin (advisor)
The main object of this bachelor thesis is to determine the parameters of the induction motor with an output of 155 W. Three ways of obtaining the parameters were chosen. Analytical calculation according to available literature, calculation in RMxprt program and laboratory measurement of the motor. For a better comparison of analytical calculations, two literary sources were chosen according to which the calculation was performed. Individual calculations and values obtained by them are included in the thesis. A comparison of the results obtained by individual methods is performed.
Dynamic Li-ion battery model
Loucký, Vojtěch ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Toman, Marek (advisor)
The main aim of this work is to compare mathematical models of Li-Ion batteries and for the chosen mathematical model create dynamic model in MATLAB. Different mathematical models are compared based on their weakness. There is detailed description of Improved Thevenin model, which is then created in Simulink and is tested for various discharging currents. This model is adjusted to work with parameters obtained from measuring data on real Li-ion cell and the results from simulations are compared with results from real measurements.
Balancer for Li-ion rechargeable battery
Zimčík, Václav ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is describing design and construction of battery balancer circuit for 8S Li-Ion battery pack. In the first, theoretical, paragraph the attributes of several Li-Ion battery cells are discussed, as well as differrent BMS topologies used in practice and microcontrolles commonly used to control them. In the second, practical, paragraph the design of BMS circuit prototype is discussed. This paragraph contains dimensioning of semiconductors, and their cooling, of BMS prototype, description of program which is controlling this prototype, comparision with comercial BMS and documentation for designed prototype of balancing circuit. Third paragraph, conclusion, contains summarization of gained knowledge regarding designed balnacing circuit.
BLDC Motor Control Module
Morávek, Lukáš ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes design and realization of hardware and software for controlling and regulation of the high-speed drive with BLDC motor, which will serve as a spindle for CNC milling machine. The thesis described in detail the schematic design and the design of printed circuit board of the power part, control part and power supply part of the three-phase transistor inverter controlled by DSP processor. It is also described in detail program of DSP processor for controlling and regulation of the BLDC motors, which the function is verified by the final measurements. The result of Diploma thesis is functional high-speed drive with BLDC motor.
Thermal calculation of induction motor using thermal networks
Čáp, Martin ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Toman, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with thermal calculation of asynchronous motor. The theoretical part deals with principles of heat transfer, which are important for thermal calculation. Another theoretical part describes asynchronous motor analysis and its loss. In the practical part, these losses together with the electromagnetic circuit are calculated. Subsequently, two thermal networks are created to calculate the warming of individual machine parts. To ensure the correctness of the result, a bound model of partial calculations of the asynchronous machine is created. The next step is to compare the calculated electrical quantities and the calculated temperatures with respect to the measured values.
