Nursing care of patient with chronic pain from leg ulcer

The bachelor thesis deals with nursing care for patient with chronic leg ulcers. The number of patients with chronic leg ulcers is rising and the therapy is long term and costly. Everything is also complicated by pain. I found information for theoretical part in literature and professional magazines in National Medical Library. Also I gained information from internet resources. Another information was obtained from recommendation concerning about wound healing such as Czech Wound Treatment Society, Slovakian Wound Treatment Society, EWMA European Society and Czech Dermatological Society. In practical part I processed a case study and described a nursing process of patient with chronic leg ulcers and chronical pain. The practical part including health assessment according to Marjory Gorden's functional model of health. I obtained all information from interview with a patient, from available medical documentation and self-observation during treatment. Methods: Casuistry of patient with chronic leg ulcers and chronical pain, with health assessment according to Marjory Gorden's functional model of health. Involvement of donors of blood plasma to the donor's registry bone marrow

The Bachelor thesis is focusing on the possibility to exploit the potential of regular blood plasma donors for inclusion into the register of bone marrow donors. Based on the assumption, that this is the almost identical population and that the criteria for blood plasma donating are similar to the criteria for bone marrow donation, plasma donors are tested periodically on the infectious diseases transmitted through blood, they have experience with the intravenous collection and plasma donors are largely complying with the age limit needed for bone marrow register. The theoretical part describes anatomy and physiology of blood plasma and bone marrow and current knowledge on the issue for donating of blood plasma and bone marrow. Describes types and indications of bone marrow transplantation, registers of blood plasma and bone marrow donors, the motivation for donating, reliefs and remunerations for donors. Nursing care of the patient after gastric bypass for morbid obesity

In my bachelor thesis I was dealing with the problem of morbid obesity (BMI 40 and more) with combined surgery according to worldwide criteria IFSO - International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders. I consider this topic as a big issue nowadays which is confirmed also by statistics WHO - World Health Organisation. Aim of my bachelor thesis was to describe the hospitalisation of the patient with minigastric bypass for morbid obesity. Further I was trying to find out whether the clinical practise is or is not different compared to nursing care which is stated in literature, health magazines and professional websites. Information and documentation needed for the theoretical part of my thesis was found in search of National Health Library, database Medvik, PubMed and others. Also, I have used information from IFSO, EASO - European Association for the Study of Obesity, SAGES - Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and Czech Obesitological company. Nursing documentation of anesthetist nurses

Nursing documentation of anesthetic nurses is not an common type of documentation in our country. In some workplaces, the medical record of anesthesia is supplemented with data needed to identify the nursing care provided. Therefore, nurses do not have their own nursing documentation at these workplaces, but they record the data in the documentation with the doctor, or continue the records on the decree sheet. Each medical facility in our country has its own system of health documentation, which makes a logical, continuous unit. The aim of my research was to find satisfaction of the nurses in the examined medical facility with the established system of medical documentation, more precisely anesthetic nursing documentation, which is related (not only) to surgical procedures. Describe how many documents are created in connection with the operation and which of them affect nursing care records. Whether they are clear, readily available, and capture the necessary data for all nurses involved in patient care in the operational fields. Post-operative care of the patient after kidney transplant

(v AJ) Transplantation medicine has undergone considerable development over the last twenty years. Organs Transplantation has become a routine part of treatment and often the only option for patients with severe kidney damage. Due to the development of immunosuppressive drugs and the improvement of surgical techniques, the outcomes of kidney transplants have greatly improved in recent years. The bachelor thesis describes the issue of nursing care for patients after kidney transplantation. In the theoretical part of the thesis I describe the issue of treatment of renal failure. I also focus on the period before the transplant itself and after the transplant. I can't forget to mention the professional organizations dealing with this issue, so I also provide a short overview of transplantation centres' in the Czech Republic. At the end of this section I present a very important part namely, patient education. Each patient needs to know what regimen in the homecare environment is to be followed so that transplantation is successful. The non-professional public perception of the nurse occupation

The work deals with the theme of perception of the nurse job by public. The objective of the work is to find out what awareness of the present work of nurse is with a view of contact of job of nurse, her personal experience and at the same time the experience of neighbourhood of the respondent and with the view of the personal feature of nurse. The objective is also to conduct a survey of factors having influence on opinion of public about job of nurse. In the theoretical part the attention is paid to the definition of the term nurse especially in the connection with its relation to nursing. The overview of the historical development of nurse from the beginning of Christianity until the first half of the 19th century is presented and furthermore it is presented the origin and development of the professional nursing including the situation in Czechia. A special attention is paid to the prestige of the nurse job including the influence of the public on its formation and also the role of the mass media at forming the public meaning is dealt with. The issue of crime victim in criminology Resume The purpose of my thesis is to describe all aspects of the situation of the victims, to find some problems they have to solve and to suggest the possible solutions of these problems. I find this topic very interesting. In the past, people concerned only with perpetrators of crimes. The victims were ignored. The situation is better now, nevertheless the position of the victims is not as good as it should be. It is necessary to make some changes, mainly to prevent secondary victimization because it is a big problem the victims must deal with. It is also very important to make some changes in our legislation to improve the position of the victims. The thesis is composed of ten chapters which are divided into subchapters. The chapter one deals with victimology. The first part focuses on a history of victimology and the second part deals with its subject. The chapter two concentrates on the term Victim. It also focuses on some aspects that increase the probability of becoming a victim. Finally, the third part of this chapter deals with the typology of the victims.
