Corporate identity of a tractor manufacturer
Hopfingerová, Ivana ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with corporate identity of a tractor manufacturer. For this purpose fictive company called Haart was created. The endeavour of this corporate identity is to make an image of a reliable company which specialises in the production of high-quality agricultural machines. This is accomplished by an orange-grey colour scheme where orange stands for living (agricultural production) and grey refers to lifeless (tractor is a machine). The final corporate identity is presented next to company stationery, merchandise, orientation graphics and web page also on the tractor designed within the pre-diploma project. For advertising graphics needs typeface Haart was created. Part of this diploma project is also the creation of a design manual. It describes all elements of Haart‘s corporate identity.
Design of Observation Submersible Vessel
Macháčková, Petra ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The design of an underwater observation vessel is the main objective during the thesis. An innovative approach will be applied in terms of modernization and design of the chosen topic. This work shows the author‘s creativity and ability to execute the required task in a specific time frame based on the appropriate level for a thesis. It reveals the steps that lead to an aesthetically balanced object from a functional product. Ergonomic standards and contemporary materials have been one of the basic knowledge.
Design of Harvester
Cimbál, Martin ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design solutions for the Harvester. It is a machine designed for the extraction of timber in large quantities. Its major place of employment is in coniferous forests. The machine is able to cut down the tree, remove branches from the tree and cut it into requested segments suitable for the removal and all in one step. The main aim of the thesis is to create an original shape solution for the Harvester, a machine for the wood harvesting, with a view to future development. The total concept is based on the present progressive, constructional technology solutions. Machine design is based on the the fundamental ergonomic requirements that make it easier for drivers to work. In the proposal I use a combination of a wheeled harvester with a walking robot design.
Design of Digital Piano
Sikora, Halina ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of a digital piano. This increasingly popular musical instrument offers possibilities not available in an acoustic piano (outputting sound into headphones, utilizing sample libraries, recording, use of sheet music in digital form and more). From technical standpoint, it attempts to closely mimic the qualities of traditional instruments, both in its tactile feedback and sound quality. The aim of this work was to design a solution which would starkly differentiate from the very conservative classical design without being overly extravagant. The main focus is therefore on aspects of visual appearance, with emphasis on ergonomics, and an outline of the technical solution.
Design of automatic lawnmower
Rytíř, Jan ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of an automatic lawn mower. The design solution is based on innovative concept respecting all technical, ergonomical, aesthetical and ecological demands. A research study, including a historical, technical and design analysis of lawn mower, is preceding the description of main creative part of design process starting from the concept development and ending up with the final solution. A conclusion of the thesis presents an analysis of final solution, its character, contribution to the human society and the particular role of industial design in automatic lawn mower concept.
Design of a working exoskeleton
Kasarová, Dominika ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
Design, exoskeleton, overhead work, fatigue, human body, musculoskeletal disorder
Design of the Air conditioning unit for additive robotic fabrication
Mandáková, Adéla ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The design of air conditioning unit is based on combination of the product itself and related architecture. The large-scale 3D printing is becoming more and more popular, that is why this thesis chose additive manufacturing robotic technology for designing the air conditioner. According to analysis the air distribution through perforations is the most convenient one for an indoor unit. An outdoor unit tends to be hidden because of inhomogeneity with the building. To obtain more variant studies for the design a generative process was applied. This method was applied also later on, because additive manufacturing is able to easily change dimension parameters and thus fulfil individual customer requests. Other advantages of robotic printing are the lattice structures that enable perforation manufacturing without waste and the possibility of using generative design methods.
Design of gramophone
Slívová, Marta ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelors thesis was to design modern and functional gramophone. The product must offer the best possible sound experience and suitable design to be proper accessory in contemporary modern living. One of the most important attribute of the gramophone is supposed to be the sound quality to be competitive with widely used CD and DVD players. Reaching nearly same sound quality could be convincing to forget the argument that analogous sound record is archaic. It could help to show gramophones as fully competitive and worthy devices among the digital ones.
Corporate identity of a travel agency
Zainer, Jan ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the dissertation is a concept for the solution of the graphic and model applications of the travel agency´s visual style. I have concentrated on the main products of the agency such as the travel diary, travel game and pocket lens. I heve elaborated on the model concept of them. In particular I have described the process of the diary ´s creation , from the graphic design to printing and binding. In the appendix I have put the design manual. You can find there all the parts of the corporate identity such as colour definition and measurement of logo, logotype and text. I have also defined the secret area, business card, letter paper, invoice and envelope.
Design of hovercraft.
Ohlídalová, Michaela ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the developement of hovercraft prototype. Hovercraft is generally included into the category of light appliances. It is considered as a appliance for vacation or experimental utilisation. Interior is customised for 5 member crew or else up to 600 kg of loading. Diploma thesis is focused on the exterior of the hovercraf, hence there are mentioned solutions of selected node points in interior with a view to the ergonomic features. There is an outcome of original design combined with modern technological solutions and materials in this diploma thesis project.
