The development of unemployment in a region

Bachelors thesis is focused on the subject: The development of unemployment in the selected region, specifically in the region of Kutná Hora. The unemployment is a problem of the whole society, every economy and it is one of the most monitored phenomena. The theoretical part is focused on concepts, such as unemployment, labour market, determining who is employed and who is unemployed. In the work are defined types of unemployment - by causes, voluntariness and the length of duration. Other topics in the theoretical part are causes and consequences of unemployment, measuring of unemployment, employment policy. In the work are described the employment office and economic crisis of 2009. The practical part deals with basic characteristics of the region Kutná Hora, the development of unemployment in this region and comparison to other regions of Central Bohemian region and with the region itself. The work includes basic information about Central-Bohemian region, how high is the unemployment rate in the region and follow-up comparison of the region to the whole Czech Republic. In the practical part is included the development of expenditure of the state employment policy. The conclusion of the work includes suggestions of possible solutions of reducing unemployment in a region Kutná Hora.
Fiscal Policy and its Importance in Development of Economy

This diploma thesis deals with the theme of fiscal policy and its importance on Czech economy from 2005 to 2015. In some parts, according to data availability, the author is trying to bring the latest information from year 2016 and predict the development of the economy in the near future. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused more broadly on economic policy, formulates its wearers, determines its goals and tools, which are used for achieving the goals. It distinguishes between different types of economic policy. In the next chapter the phases, types and causes of the economic cycle are defined. The implementation of economic policies from two different points of view is also clarified. In the following chapter the author focuses on the main topic of fiscal policy and analogically defines its objectives, instruments and types. Subsequently, the budgetary system of the Czech Republic is analyzed. Separate chapter is devoted to the state budget. The main revenues, expenditures and overall balance are described. Lastly, the process of drawing up the state budget is explained in detail. The analytical part follows the development of macroeconomic indicators such as gross domestic product, inflation and unemployment in the Czech Republic in the previously mentioned period. Then the development and structure of revenues and expenditures of the state budget are analyzed. Based on the final balance, a resolution for the problematics of Czech state debt is solved. In each chapter of the practical part is an attempt to analyse fiscal policy and its importance on certain developments. The results are compared with selected countries of EU 28.
GDP trend, structural analysis, the position of agriculture

This master thesis deals with the gross domestic product as one of the basic macroeconomic indicators. The subject of the work is also examining the situation of Czech agriculture. The work presents theoretical basis for understanding the basic relations and concepts that relate to the gross domestic product. They describe the various methods of GDP calculation and underlying economic factors, which contribute to the final value of GDP. In detail, the work deals with the development of Czech gross domestic product since 1993, and its comparison with not only with neighboring states, but also with other European Union countries. The last part deals with the position of Czech agriculture and its development since 2003. In addition, he also position of individual plant and animal production, number of employees and contribution to gross domestic product. In the final part, the work tries to summarize the trend of the gross domestic product of the Czech Republic and agriculture as its integral part.
Importance of consumption in economy

The thesis is focused on consumption, which is the largest component of gross domestic product, as well as the most important macroeconomic indicator of economic performance. The theoretical part provides basic information on macroeconomic indicators (GDP, income, unemployment, inflation, interest rate) that affect consumption. Subsequently, the theory is discussed in two-sector model of consumption function, savings and benefits (cardinal and ordinal theory). The analytical part discusses selected macroeconomic indicators over time (GDP, interest rate, savings, wages), which are supplemented by a factor graph of growth or growth rate. Indicators are selected, such as the GDP and the minimum wage, and compared with the Federal Republic of Germany, the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. Indicator of savings is then compared with the savings EU27. Subsequently statistics of family account is being dealt with based on a defined consumer basket and individual consumptions are accompanied by a chart that reflects the structure of issuance in percentage and average household expenditure per person per year.
Fiscal policy and its importance in development of economy

The thesis deals with the impact of fiscal policy on economic development and is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part of the thesis describes macroeconomic performance indicators, the operating principles of state economic policy and economic cycle including its phases and his possible causes. Next part deals with the functioning of fiscal policy including its types, measures and problems associated with it. There is also outlined the issue of the formation of the state budget and the public debt. The analytical part is primarily monitored developments in the gross domestic product, unemployment and inflation rates within the reporting period. The following section provides an analysis of state budget and public debt of the Czech Republic, especially in the connection with the development of the budget balance and structure of expenditure and revenue side of the budget. Examined topic is given in correspondence with the fiscal measures undertaken. The thesis is also a comparison of domestic development with neighboring countries and the EU average. Finally there is a synthesis of the ascertain results.
