The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The subject of this diploma thesis is an evaluation of the company HBH Projekt spol. s.r.o., using the Balanced Scorecard method. In the first section, I will explain the theoretical knowledge components and provide a definition for some of the basic concepts related to management strategy, financial analysis, and performance indicators. The second section is an analysis and evaluation of the recent performance of HBH Projekt spol. s.r.o.. This second section will focus on both financial and non-financial measurements. The findings of these analyses serve as the basis for the third section, which is a proposal for the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method for the company. In this section, the four perspectives are assigned to the strategic goals of the company, benchmarks are set, and strategic metrics are defined to help achieve the set goals of improving the company's performance.

Evaluation of the Company´s Financial Performance

This master thesis is focused on an assessment of the financial situation of the company Fatra, a.s. and on comparation with its competitors by selected proportion rations of the financial analyses. Competitors are simillar companies from the Statistical classification of economic activities in the European Community and in Czech Republic throughout the years 2010 - 2014. Literature review dealing with the issue of evaluating financial performance of the company was used as a basis for the theoretical part. The practical part contains calculations of the financial analysis and interpretation of the achieved results with a emphasis on benchmarking. Data for this thesis were obtained from Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Czech Statistical Office and from Amadeus database. The conclusion summarizes findings and results in recommen-dations to improve financial performance.

Bachelor thesis gives analyze financial situation of the selected company in years 2013-2017 and the subsequent proposals for improvement of the situation. Theoretical section defines information about aims, concepts and used methods for financial analysis, as well as presented the company. The second part, deals with own work, is focused on processing and application of individual indicators to the analyzed company Czech Sport Aircraft, a.s. The last part contains recommendations for improving the current financial situation of company.

The Business Plan of Establishment New Company

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the elaboration of a business plan for the foundation of a new company. The company is focused on the realization of social events and providing hospitality services. The thesis defines basic concepts, objectives, methods, and theoretical knowledge necessary to clarify the subject matter on the basis of which a specific business plan is drawn up. In the conclusion of the thesis, the evaluation of the effectiveness of investing in a particular idea is summarized with the help of dynamic indicators.

Will be implemented in particular horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements. On the basic of the analysis of capital structures will be designed to optimise actual capital structure.

HTTP Application Performance Monitoring

Goal of this bachelor thesis was to create solution for monitoring and analysis of network performance of HTTP server using Nemea framework and NetFlow data. For this purpose, I've created Nemea module for filtering, parsing and saving NetFlow data enhanced by informations gained from HTTP plugin on exporter. For analysis and user interface, webpage based on Django framework was created, used for displaying statistics that are useful for users in order to reveal problems with monitored servers. Result of my work is product, which is demonstrating possibility of using of Nemea system for passive monitoring of HTTP servers.

Optimization of NetFlow Data Search Using nfdump

This bachelor thesis deals with optimization of NetFlow data search using the nfdump tool. This thesis describes NetFlow protocol and tool nfdump and proposes the solution using data structure Bloom filter. The main goal was to optimize data storage and processing in order to be able to search the huge amounts of collected data and get results very quickly. The outcome of this thesis is the optimized tool that network administrators can use to search these data and significantly accelerate monitoring and analyzing network.

DNS Amplification Attack Detection Using Passive DNS Analysis

This thesis is focused on the analysis and detection of DNS Amplification attack which is type of the DoS attack. Introduction of this thesis is focused on fundamental theories involving computer networks, DNS and DoS attacks. The main part of the work deals with the analysis of DNS Amplification attack, design and implementation of detection tool in C++ programming language. The conclusion is devoted to analyzing the results of the detection tool.
