Evaluation of the Company´s Financial Performance using Benchmarking Approach
Bartoš, Ondřej ; Medek, Martin (referee) ; Bartoš, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with the financial and commercial evaluation of the performance of the Zemědělský podnik Kvasicko using the benchmarking method. The first part focuses on the theoretical background necessary for solving the given problem. The second part then characterizes the Zemědělský podnik Kvasicko, this is then complemented by a strategic analysis of the enterprise. The following part is devoted to benchmarking the enterprise with selected competitors. In the last part, measures for improving the financial and business situation are proposed.

Bartoš, Ondřej ; Hanušová, Helena (referee) ; Bartoš, Vojtěch (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with evaluation of the financial situation of selected company Spálovský, a.s. in the monitored period 2014 to 2018. The first part focuses on the theoretical basis, where the selected indicators and terms are specified. The second part focuses on calculation of financial analysis, including the evaluation of the results. The last part presents own proposals to improve the situation of the company.

Laplace equation in fractional Sobolev spaces
Bartoš, Ondřej ; Bárta, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vybíral, Jan (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to study Laplace's equation on a unit disc. The given function values on a unit circle can be interpreted as a 2π-periodic function and the solution can be derived using Fourier method. We introduce general integer Sobolev spaces and their alternatives useful for describing functions on a unit disc and a unit circle. Using elementary methods, we show how they are related to each other. The same results are shown for fractional Sobolev spaces. The main result is that functions from some Sobolev space on a unit disc that solve Laplace's equation correspond to functions from a one half lower Sobolev space on a unit circle. These results can be used to show for a function from some Sobolev space on a unit circle in how strong norm the solution of Laplace's equation converges to the given function. 1
Use of digital technologies in social services during the COVID-19 pandemic
Bartoš, Ondřej ; Čihánková, Ivana (advisor) ; Urban, David (referee)
This thesis deals with the online casework and potential problems facing people working in social care in the Czech Republic. The main aims of the thesis are to map and describe the state of online casework in several organisations providing selected types of online social services during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Using qualitative research derived from interviews with social workers, the work deals with online casework, specifically using chat and videoconferencing tools, exploring the differences between online and face-to-face work and outcomes. The thesis is divided into two parts, one theoretical and one empirical. The theoretical part defines and characterises social work and introduces the potential demands coming from service users during the pandemic. The main subject of the empirical part is a qualitative research of the data collected during three semi- structured interviews, exploring the risks of online casework, both to the caseworker and service user.

The measurement of the heterogeneous particles in the steam

The aim of this extended abstract is to reveal the work done as cooperation between several institutions which was presented and published in recent years (Kolovratník, 2014). The formation of droplets in low-pressure steam turbines has a significant impact on the efficiency of energy conversion due to the strongly nonequilibrium nature of this process . The condensed water also erodes the turbine blades. A very important question is to what extent heterogeneous nucleation contributes to the phase transition process . In the case of heterogeneous nucleation , the number of droplets depends only on the number of h eterogeneous particles in the system, whereas in the case of homogeneous nucleation, the number of created droplets is determined rather by the expansion rate - in a faster expansion, greater supersaturation and more droplets are formed until the released condensation enthalpy quenches the nucleation.\nThe specific number of droplets (number of droplets per unit mass of steam) formed in the turbine can be determined by optical probes, developed first by Walters and later in the Czech Republic improved by Petr and Kolovratník. Until recently, no information was available on the relative importance of heterogeneous nucleation in forming these droplets.
Použití obohacených nauplií artemie pro odkrm larev ryb
BARTOŠ, Ondřej
The aim of study was to create review about breeding and use of enriched Artemia salina. Firstly, the historical development of use of Artemia salina was described, as well as its demands on biotop and its morphology. Secondly, the feeding larval stages of fish with different developmental stages of Artemia salina was concerned. Especiallymthe description of bioencapsulation of Artemia salina as well as the description of several commercial bioencapsulational agents were included (Selco, AlgaMac-3050). Some experiments focused on the growth and survival of some fish species which were feeded with Artemia salina were concerned in this study. These fish species were involved: Oncorhynchus mykiss, Sander lucioperca, Acipenser persicus, Huso huso, Tor khudree, Acanthopagrus latus Cromileptes altivelis a Hippocampus abdominalis. The majority of bioencapsulational agents involved in the experiments were supposed to result in increase in the concentration of highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA) and in increase in the content of vitamines. The size of Huso huso that was feeded with enriched Artemia salina was a half higher (4,2g ? 0,5g) in comparison with the size of fish species feeded with unmodified Artemia salina (2,8g ? 0,2g). The similar results occured in the case of Oncorhynchus mykiss. The observed group of Oncorhynchus mykiss which was enriched with the mixture 10 % HUFA and vitamin C was of the weight 657,5mg ? 57,9mg and the survival ratio 96 % ? 1 %. The control gained the weight 568,3mg ? 20,7mg and survival ratio 67 % ? 1 %. As a result of this study it is obvious that feeding larval phases of fish with the enriched Artemia salina has a positive effect on their growth and survival.
Discontinuous Galerkin method for the solution of boundary-value problems in non-smooth domains
Bartoš, Ondřej ; Feistauer, Miloslav (advisor) ; Dolejší, Vít (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the analysis of the finite element method and the discontinuous Galerkin method for the numerical solution of an elliptic boundary value problem with a nonlinear Newton boundary condition in a two-dimensional polygonal domain. The weak solution loses regularity in a neighbourhood of boundary singularities, which may be at corners or at roots of the weak solution on edges. The main attention is paid to the study of error estimates. It turns out that the order of convergence is not dampened by the nonlinearity, if the weak solution is nonzero on a large part of the boundary. If the weak solution is zero on the whole boundary, the nonlinearity only slows down the convergence of the function values but not the convergence of the gradient. The same analysis is carried out for approximate solutions obtained with numerical integration. The theoretical results are verified by numerical experiments. 1
