Methodology for identification of sources of aerosol particles and street dust using statistical methods
Adamec, V. ; Huzlík, J. ; Ličbinský, R. ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Vojtěšek, Martin
Methodology describes a process of quantification of contribution of individual resources of air pollution caused by the particulate matter including resuspension on the basis of measurement of chemical composition of particulate matter and street dust using statistical methods and receptor modeling.

Morphology, chemical and toxicological characterisation of road dust and particulate matter including sources apportionment: Final report - summary
Adamec, Vladimír ; Huzlík, Jiří ; Ličbinský, Roman ; Effenberger, Karel ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Večeřa, Zbyněk ; Dočekal, Bohumil ; Vojtěšek, Martin
Project brought new scientific results in the field of chemical composition, physical and toxicological characterization of street dust and particulate matter. Chemical analyses and statistical methods including receptor modelling result in identification their sources.

Identification of sources of resuspended aerosol particles using statistic methods
Huzlík, J. ; Ličbinský, R. ; Mikuška, Pavel
Parallel collection of aerosol particles in size fractions PM2.5 and PM10 and street dust at the same location was performed in Ostrava and Brno during winter and summer 2009 and 2010. Identification of PM sources including resuspended PM and their contribution to overall PM concentration was done by using receptor modelling methods.
Semi-continuous analysis of water-soluble fraction of metals in atmospheric aerosols
Vojtěšek, Martin ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Večeřa, Zbyněk ; Křůmal, Kamil
Characterization of new method for the semi-continuous determination of trace concentrations of water-soluble metalls in atmospheric aerosols with time resolution of 30 min. Fe3+, Co2+ and Cu2+ were selected as model metals.
Analysis of water-soluble fraction of metals in atmospheric aerosols using a semi-continuous system
Mikuška, Pavel ; Vojtěšek, Martin ; Večeřa, Zbyněk ; Křůmal, Kamil
Description of semi-continuous system for on-line detection of water-soluble fraction of metalls in atmospheric aerosols with time resolution of 30 min. Fe3+, Co2+, Cu2+ were selected as model metals.
Seasonal variations of concentrations of metals in particulate matter and street dust in Brno and Ostrava
Vojtěšek, Martin ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Ličbinský, R. ; Adamec, V. ; Křůmal, Kamil
In this work a study of chemical composition of PM10, PM2.5 and street dust was performed at two urban sites in the Czech Republic in years 2009 and 2010. The first one is in the city center with high traffic density and the second is situated near steelworks.
Concentration of elements in atmospheric aerosol and street dust in Brno and in Ostrava
Vojtěšek, Martin ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Ličbinský, R. ; Adamec, V. ; Křůmal, Kamil
Contribution deals with measurement of atmospheric aerosols (size fractions PM2.5 and PM10) in Brno and Ostrava and with comparison of concentration of elements in aerosol and street dust in Brno and Ostrava; effect of different potential sources is discussed.
