Efekt různých měřítek a podrobností mapování na hodnocení krajiny

The main purpose of this paper is examining the utilization of various mapping data for biotope evaluation by BVM (biotope valuation method, modified from Hessian method). The evaluation of landscape segments of different size was performed and compared while using mapping data of different scale (Corine LC and NATURA 2000 mapping). The result shows advisable combinations of map extent and mapping data for biotope evaluation in order to maximize the effectivity and leave the high information value.

For creating price maps, data from NATURA 2000 mapping system are useful and they give topographically more accurate data than CORINE Land Cover. Nevertheless the total price differed very slightly, probably because of the studied area was large enough. Individual evaluation changed the total value mainly in case of natural and close to nature biotopes. The total value of the whole area was changed by only approximately 2 or 5% (according to used procedure of data transfer). It means that individual evaluation could be ignored for price map formation, in the last resort.

Role of wetlands in water budget of landscape

Wetlands are unterstood as shallow, seasonally or permanently waterlogger or flooded areas which normaly suppostr hydrophytic vegetation. Various definitions of wetlands are given. Water retention above soil surface, in wetland soil and role of wetland plants in water cycle and solar energy dissipation are briefly explained. Examples of long term monitoring water retention in a peat bog and functioning of a wetland landscape during flood are given. Role of watelands in landscape restoration is mentioned.

Sledování aktivity a množství enzymu Rubisco v jehlicích smrku ztepilého během dne

Rubisco (ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase; EC 4.1.1.39) enzyme catalyses caboxylation of D-ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP), the first step of Calvin cycle, in competition with oxygenation of RuBP that leads to photorespiratory pathway. We estimated diurnal changes of Rubisco initial and total activities as well as Rubisco amount under the different light conditions to find the mechanism of Rubisco activity regulation in Norway spruce needles.
