The Comparison of Atmospheric Aerosol Mass Size Distributions at Urban Background Sites at Downtown and Northern-West Suburban of Prague
Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Smolík, Jiří ; Hovorka, J. ; Civiš, M.
The comparison of mass size distributions measured during all seasons in parallel using two BLPI on two urban background sites in Prague (NW suburb of Prague and downtown of Prague) was done. The influence of several meteorological parameters was studied.
Aerosol Characterization in the Indoor Environment
Smolík, Jiří ; Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Ždímal, Vladimír ; Dohányosová, Pavla
Aerosol behaviour in the indoor environment and relation to outdoor aerosols, including study of the influence of some indoor sources were studied using measurement of aerosol size distributions using SMPS, APS and BLPI. The size distribution of several elements and main ions were also studied.
Chemical Composition of Indoor and Outdoor Aerosol in Prague Suburb
Smolík, Jiří ; Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Ždímal, Vladimír ; Lazaridis, M. ; Dohányosová, Pavla
Epidemical studies show higher concentration of aerosol particles in the air influencing negatively human health. Although majority of today’s population spends its time inside buildings, less attention was focused to study behavior and composition of indoor PM. Chemical composition of size resolved indoor/outdoor aerosol from campaign in November 2002 is presented in this work.
Study of Atmospheric Aerosol Mass Size Distribution at Prague Suburb
Schwarz, Jaroslav ; Smolík, Jiří ; Hovorka, J.
Size distribution of atmospheric aerosols at Prague suburb Suchdol was studied using Berner low pressure impactor. Four 2-4 weeks measurement campaign were done resulting in 68 measured 23 hour size distributions. The results showed the influence of wind velocity and direction, relative humidity and temperature on aerosol mass size distribution.
Robustní odhad rozdělení velikostí částic atmosférických aerosolů pomocí gnostické teorie
Wagner, Zdeněk ; Ždímal, Vladimír ; Smolík, Jiří
A new approach using gnostic theory of uncertain data is applied to analysis of particle size distribution in atmospheric aerosols. The properties of the gnostic kernel, derived from theory, is demonstrated. Enhancement of gnostic theory, which allows robust kernel estimation of the distribution function as well as the bounds of the data support, is explained.
