Atmosférické aerosoly jsou důležitou složkou atmosféry a to z mnoha úhlů pohledu. Zvýšený zájem, který v posledních letech vyvolávají, je způsoben zejména jejich dvěma aspekty. Prvním je vliv atmosférických aeroslů na zdraví lidí a druhým je role, kterou hrají v globálním oteplování. V obou těchto procesech hraje svou roli nejen jejich celková hmotnostní koncentrace v atmosféře, ale i koncentrace početní, celková velikostní distibuce a v neposlední řadě i jejich složení. Všechny tyto aspekty jsou studovány v rámci projektu "Zevrubná charakterizace atmosférického aerosolu v Praze". Size distribution of atmospheric aerosols at Prague suburb Suchdol was studied using Berner low pressure impactor. Four 2-4 weeks measurement campaign were done resulting in 68 measured 23 hour size distributions. The results showed the influence of wind velocity and direction, relative humidity and temperature on aerosol mass size distribution.
