Engineering mechanics 2002
Daněk, Otakar ; Vaněk, František ; Kozánek, Jan ; Pešek, Luděk ; Procházka, Pavel
This equipment, developed in IT AS CR, is determined to monitoring of a space dispacement of jet-engine vibrating blade tips.
Dynamic analysis of turbine blade M4
Hendrych, Pavel ; Pešek, Luděk ; Vaněk, František
This contribution is aimed at the numerical dynamic analysis of steam turbine low-pressure blade M4 both in steady state and under rotation. The verification of the free-free numerical model based on the modal analysis was carried out. The numerical model was developed as a three-dimensional finite element model. The Cambell diagram was calculated with respect to stress stiffening and spin softening effects.
Modelling Coriolis effect of rotating turbine blade for dynamic analysis
Hendrych, Pavel ; Pešek, Luděk
This contribution is aimed at the numerical description of the dynamic behavior of the turbine blade under rotation including the effects of stress stiffening due to geometrical non-linearity, spin softening and Coriolis forces. The 3D FEM model and the numerical solution of the stress stiffening and eigenvalue problem with unsymmetrical coefficient matrices were developed.
The sensors for apparatus MKA.UT3
Vaněk, František ; Vaněk, Petr ; Cibulka, Jan
The contribution deals with a brief information about two types of sensors usable for the measurement of dynamic parameters of parts vibrating under rotation. These two types of sensors are developed in the IT AS CR. The first type is inductivity and the other capacitive.
Identification of nonlinear damping of blades
Balda, Miroslav
A method for identification of damping parameters is described, based on a nonlinear least-squares Matlab procedure.
Fatigue damage of blades under transients
Balda, Miroslav
Damping blades of turbines caused by a sudden change of a loading. Such a change causes transients in vibrations of blades, and a cumulation of the fatigue damage. Four analytical models are studied.
Využití magnetorezistivních senzorů v dynamice strojů
Vaněk, František ; Cibulka, Jan ; Vaněk, Petr
Magnetoresistive sensors of rotation with analogue or digital outputs were introduced at Senzor 99 exhibition in Nurberg by Philips and Siemens. They proved their usefulness in diagnostics of machine parts vibrating due to rotation. The rotating part of a machine passing the sensor induces changes of the outer magnetic field and consequently the electrical resistance of the bridge is varied and then the corresponding output voltage measured. In the present contribution typical measurements taken from engineering practise and their analyses are presented.
Fatigue Properties of Steels Under Multiaxial Loading
Václavík, Martin ; Svoboda, Jaroslav
Study of combined loading influence to fatigue lifetime of smooth polished specimens made by the material 11523.1. Followed are the stress field changes at various rates of shear and normal loading, and the coherence between the level of particular stress components and specimen fatigue lifetime. Three hypotheses for limit stress computations (HMH, Findley´s and Dang Van's)were verified.
Software support of fatigue tests
Balda, Miroslav
The paper deals with a problem of preparation of non-standard tests to be run on hydroelectric loading systems INOVA and Instron, and processing measured data. The goal of tests is to obtain new information on material properties under random loading. The fatigue tests are carried out on the computer controlled systems.
