Important factors supporting videosupervision from the point of view of supervision users

The thesis is focused on the factors that enable the successful process of supervision using video conference or videosupervision. The aim of thesis is to provide a practical tool for supervisors that can help to identify, enhance and manage these supporting elements. In the theoretical part of the thesis, cyber-supervision and its variant videosupervision are introduced, their history, forms, models and especially the supporting and limiting factors that influence their course are explained. Based on the study of the literature, a prototype of the questionnaire mapping the perception of the supporting factors of videosupervision from the perspective of the supervised was formulated. The epistemological-methodological approach is the practice research. In the thesis a mixed study with a qualitative and then a quantitative part was used. The qualitative part used content analysis of data obtained from two focus groups, and these results were subsequently used to refine the original version of the questionnaire, which was then distributed electronically. The data from both researches were used to formulate a practical recommendation for supervisors, how they can contribute to the successful course of videosupervision using the support factors perceived by the supervisees as necessary.
