Represented acting and emotional acting

This thesis is written as a self-reflection of my acting development for past eight years i. e. since enrolling to DAMU untill my current engagement. The main focus is on issues regarding role formation e. g. inability of an ongoing act, deficient playing, spasm etc. in context of emotional acting and represented acting. Utilizing this eight- year time frame I describe how these problems influence me during various phases of my development, how I approached them and eventually my effort to find solution.
High-speed rail system in Asia

The Master Thesis focuses on comprehensive evaluation of high-speed rail in Japan. The theoretical part describes the history of the Shinkansen systém, which is currently the standard of the high-speed rail. It also discusses the analysis of the key technologies, support systems and respect for nature. Within the technology part also represents a MAGLEV technology, currently being developer as a succesor to the high-speed traffic. In the analytical part analyzes in detail the different tracks and trains used on them. Finally the author compares the Shinkansen system compared to other modes of public transport and passenger transport in three different length routes.
Fouding financial project

The goal of this thesis is to create foundational financial project of mobile fast-food. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on describing the founding project, basic concepts, forms of business, company strategy, process of strategic management, strategic analysis, marketing and it's strategy, financial management of company, asset and capital structure, basic sta-tements, tax issues and financial analysis of company. The practical part firstly mentions business plan, the chosen form of business and companions. Secondly, the part focuses on developing of strategic analysis, defining the company's marketing mix, constructing fouding project and possible development of the company during first three years based on optimistic, pessimistic and realistc assumpitons, all variants are evaluated through financial analysis. In conclusion, all variants are evaluated.
The empirical analysis of the project: Stáže ve firmách

This paper is dedicated to the empirical analysis of the pilot trainee project Stáže ve firmách, which is considered as treatment in this analysis. The main objective of the empirical analysis is estimation of average treatment effect(ATE) and average treatment effect on treated(ATET) for characteristics like socioeconomic status and wage. Counterfactual methods for policy impact evaluation like Difference in Differences Estimator(DiD), First Differences Estimator(FD) and Propensity Score Matching(PSM) are used to estimation mentioned effects. This paper contains extension of Assignment Problem that is used for people matching purposes as alternative for PSM. This way of matching provides better control over creation of couples. Resulting pairs are more similar in selected characteristics due to better control during couples creation process.
Optimizing schedules for International film festival’s staff

The International film festival in Karlovy Vary takes place annually. The hostess team is jointly responsible for the screenings and other VIP events to run smoothly. This paper will discuss the issues of time management and organisation associated with the hostess team. The first part of this document, which is purely theoretical, will describe basic principles and solution procedures for the real problem. The second part defines and addresses the real problem of scheduling and subsequently suggests for efficient method to solve it. The method is based on generating acceptable combinations of film screenings and other events that are further evaluated according to working hours, redeployment and downtime. After this evaluation, these combinations are selected which minimize the downtime, redeployment and number of employees, who are necessary to ensure all actions.
Estimating a value of the firm BRISK, a.s.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to estimate the value of the Brisk, a.s. company operating in the automotive industry (analysis is valid for the date of 30st June 2012). The yield method used for the analysis is DFC in the entity variant. The value of the company is to be stated for the aim of a potential purchase. The thesis is devided into two main parts. The theoretical part determines basic estimation criteria, the practical part includes strategic and financial analysis and a financial plan.
