The object helps to create a block of buildings in the area. It is about two blocks are embedded along the perimeter of the parcel in which that third corner creates a (joint). Creative solutions dominated by an extended structure that adds personality, creating an arcade and gives it a dynamic face. Are maintained line side of buildings, do not make landmark church on the other side.

TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV

The essence of the proposed solution is a multi–functional linkage between the buildings - the "capsule" - creating a separate building functioning, although the complex join together and reunites again at the patio. Buildings lines the structual line with subtle mass shift which creates together with rounded edges a distinctive look of the whole complex. The complex consists of pension, administrative building, living area with terraces and gallery on the ground-floor and is notionally finalised by parksafe system parking house. The principle of the proposal is to let the surrounding green areas permeate throughout the parcels enabling the relaxation and entertainment in the green oasis of the courtyard patio, the living heart of the complex. The keynote of the architectural design is to corroborate the street and the corner. Therefore, the complex follows up with and extends the existing estates. The choosen layout works with the space, improvises with historic link-up and enables functional mass partition.

The theme of this thesis are surfaces made of unburned earth and used in architecture. The thesis focuses mainly on detailed mapping and analysis of the present state. However, it does not omit the historical roots of earthen surfaces in the area of today`s Czech Republic. In these roots it looks for connections with contemporary practice. The thesis deduces conclusions from thorough evaluation of the present situation – it shows perspectives and possible drift of the future development of earthen surfaces. Both in the field of architecture and in areas broadening this field.

Hlína v současné stavitelské praxi a další perspektivy jejího využití

Používání hlíny ve stavebnictví není módním výstřelkem bez kořenů, na jižní Moravě byl tento materiál vždy doma. Jeho vývoj byl pouze přerušen a to od konce 19. století do poloviny 20. století. V dnešní době máme na výběr z mnoha jiných stavebních materiálů, zároveň jsou tu však dvě důležitá fakta. Jednak se stále více zajímáme o své zdraví (tzn. i o „zdravé“ materiály) a pojmy jako stavební biologie už nejsou nikterak neznámé, a jednak se jednou z našich morálních povinností nenávratně stává šetrné zacházení s energií. Použití hlíny se díky těmto dvěma pohledům jeví jako naprosto logické. Shrňme si stručně novodobou historii jejího používání a podívejme se na současné možnosti a trendy, kterými se vývoj bude ubírat.
