Distribution of selected elements in soils of urban parks in Prague and Brno
Šimeček, Martin ; Mihaljevič, Martin (advisor) ; Tejnecký, Václav (referee)
Prague and Brno belong to one of the most contaminated cities of Czech Republic. The main objective of this study was to compare PGE contents and concentrations of risk elements (Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu, As, Sb, Hg) in the soils of both cities's municipal parks. Soil samples were taken from depths of 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm and 20-30 cm. Besides soil samples, the sand samples from children sandpits were taken from depth 0-30 cm. In 52 samples of soil and sand Pd, Pt and Rh contents were determinated by ICP- MS after Ni-S fire assay procedure. Soil samples were additionally analysed on Pb isotopic composition. Higher PGE contents were determined in Prague; the highest contents were measured at location of Ortenovo náměstí (50,5 μg·kg-1 Pt, 33,9 μg·kg-1 Pd a 11,3 μg·kg-1 Rh). Elevated PGE concentrations were found in the upper layers of most soils in both cities. Elevated contents of risk elements were determined at locations with high traffic density. Most of samples showed that contents of risk elements decrease with depth. The highest concentrations reached Zn (394 mg·kg-1 ), Pb (290 mg·kg-1 ) and Cu (181 mg·kg-1 ). In Prague, the isotopic ratios 206 Pb/207 Pb vary from 1,136 to 1,181; in Brno from 1,161 to 1,192. Measured isotopic ratios suggest contamination both from gasoline and ore combustion. Key words:...
Health literacy among low threshold service users of KC SAMANIM
Šimeček, Martin ; Barták, Miroslav (advisor) ; Nejedlá, Marie (referee)
BACKGROUND: Health literacy is the sum of skills which leads to improved behavior related to the health. Limited health literacy can be related to a risk behavior such as addictive substance use. OBJECTIVIES: The goal of the study is to research the level of health literacy among low-threshold users in the Sananim contact centre. The study aims to compare groups of respondents on the basis of health literacy and to ascrertain if there are some significant differences between them. METHODS: The study included 194 respondents. The level of health literacy was measured by HLS-EU-Q16 questionnaire, sociodemographic data were measured by In-come questionnaire. RESULTS: Most of the respondents belong into a group with limited health literacy. Methamphetamine was the primary addictive substance in both groups, the primary method of application was injection. CONCLUSIONS: There are no significant differences among the groups with limited and adequate health literacy.
history of food in K centers - case study

Introduction Nutrition significantly affect health at the general population as well as at drug users. Contact centers offers food service and they can improve quality of drug users life. Objective The aim is to explore food giving at contact cener SANANIM and find why was changed rules about concerning food service. Methods and sample Sample creates 20 clients and 7 employers of contact center, 5 employers of charity and charitable organizations. Interwiev and observation was used for facts obtaining. Results I have found periods of food giving at contact center. It is dividing to 3 periods. Hygienic norm, capacitance reasons, financial reasons and moving of object standing for changing rules. Resume I thing that the right chosen nutritional therapy can pozitive affect drug users life. Nutrition mening pursue at follow-up treatment. I recommend to expand research and find congruent impart to other contact centers about relevance nutrition aspect. Keywords food giving - nutrition - contact center - case study - SANANIM

Tree rings as a Pb pollution archive
Šimeček, Martin ; Mihaljevič, Martin (advisor) ; Strnad, Ladislav (referee)
The Bachelor's thesis is written as a research talking about storing Pb in tree rings. The first part speaks about the basic characteristic of the pollutant, his natural and anthropogenic deposits. Following chapters are comparing the tree rings with the peat bogs, which are often used as a natural archive of the contamination by the metallic elements. Than I continue with the description of the transport of Pb into wood and subsequent radial distribution in tree rings. One of the chapters concludes the results of certain researches of tree rings. The main time sections of environmental pollution in the 20th century are shown by the results of researches on the concentrations and isotope ratios of Pb. These studies informe us also about sources causing this pollution. The thesis includes also a chapter about bark pockets, which can be used as another alternative to observe the movement of Pb in the environment. The last part describes the method ICP-MS usually used to determine Pb in natural materials.
Analysis of Cloud ECM Adoption Factors among SMB
Šimeček, Martin ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Šuk, Roman (referee)
This thesis deals with a specific area of cloud computing - Enterprise Content Management services and their adoption among small and medium-sized businesses. The main goal is to identify and analyse factors affecting the expansion of cloud ECM services among SMBs. Secondary goals include definition of basic concepts, introduction of benefits and risks, definition of a suitable category, presentation of several products from this category, analysis of cloud computing adoption surveys, identification and analysis of main adoption barriers, description of products with focus on identified barriers and compilation of a set of recommendations for cloud service providers. These goals were achieved by studying literature, searching and analyzing cloud computing adoption surveys and consulting with professionals. This thesis contributes to the field with mapping of real world companies' opinions into practical recommendations for cloud computing vendors. Other contributions include definition of product parameters that are important when making a cloud ECM adoption decision, presentation of current market situation and how individual producers deal with main customers' barriers. Benefits for customers include cloud ECM market overview and showing which facts are worth their notice.
