Potencial a part of National geopark Železné hory for sustainable tourism Abstract Submitted thesis deals on the general level with issues of sustainable development of tourism in defined area of National geopark Železné hory. First of all in the theorethical part the tourism is set in the broader context and it is aimed to the issue of sustainability. One of the key part of this thesis is detailed analysis of geopark concept and geotourism, including possibilities of their practical application focused especially on the development of rural area. The main aim of the empirical part of the thesis is to analyze geotourist potential in defined area of Železné hory on the basis of field research between local participants and analysis of accessible materials from the area of interest. Ascertained pieces of knowledge relate to local cooperation in the process of creation and promotion of geotourist products, possibility of increasing the efficiency of current state of tourism in the area and region overall development. Income inequality and its impacts in France, Sweden and the United Kingdom

This bachelor thesis aim is to analyze the level of income inequality, its impacts, and consequences for the population in three selected states of the European Union: Sweden, France and the United Kingdom. It goes through the historical perspective of income inequality since the very first data were taken till today’s state of income inequality. It also compares what are the impacts of the income inequality on social mobility, education, and healthcare in all selected countries. Attention was paid to the relevance of sources of data, the vast majority of data mapping the actual state of income inequality were from OECD and European Institutions.

Geographical aspects of recreational houses and apartments' issue in Czechia

Recreation has played, and will always play, an important role in people's lives. People have always longed for a familiar place to relax, however, the ways of relaxing and the types of recreational property have been evolving. New trends in second housing have emerged in developed states during second half of 20th century and lately in Czechia as well. The most expanded new trend in Czechia is a tendency to purchase own apartments in apartment houses built in attractive localities of mountains, lake sides, near golf courses and spa areas. Among other trends belong for example internationalization, commercionalization of second housing, and timesharing. This thesis aims to describe issue of recreational apartments in Czechia, discover its geographical aspects, patterns and characteristics of its developement. Also predicted future tendencies are discussed. The focus is given to the study of effects which might be caused by the construction and use of above mentioned recreational flats. Existence of these real estates might have negative impacts for the neigbouring nature, economic situation of municipalities and social atmosphere in destinations. The thesis is focused on the design of corporate strategy for the company AMPO, s.r.o., which is created through the outputs of the strategic analysis and by using methods, tools and models, and should improve the situation of the company and achieve the selected strategic. The author in creating a new strategy for the company AMPO, s.r.o. Used modeling methods and the final outcome was a summary of the recommendations and create a graphical model of the proposed strategy. The literature search focused on the topic of strategy and strategic management. They described various methods, tools and models, which were then used in the practical part and are the basis for the formulation and implementation strategies.

SOCIOECONOMIC AND EDUCATIONAL FUNCTION OF GEOPARKS: THE EXAMPLE OF NATIONAL GEOPARK RALSKO

Diploma thesis deals with the concept of geoparks, which rapidly expand worldwide as a tool for sustainable development. This paper is focused on the socio-economic and educational function of geoparks and their management. The concept of geoparks, geoturism, heritage and its interpretation is generally discused, complemented by findings from practical researches. These researches are used to create an overview of methods, which are used in sociogeographical researches of geoparks. In practical terms are used qualitative methods, which identify and evaluate the overall functioning of the National Geopark Ralsko and its socio-economic and educational impacts. The main actors in the area are identified by document analysis and direct field observation and the geopark's education and interpretation of the local heritage is evaluated hrough. The main part of the research is semi-structured interviews with the actors in the territory. Based on these interview is evaluated management of this geopark, understanding and attitude towards the geopark and the functioning of the whole area. Several barriers to the development of the region and the Geopark have been identified. These barriers are are discussed with the theory.
