Regional accessibility of social services from geographical viewpoint

The goal of this elaboration is to analyze and chart the accessibility of social services in each region of Czech Republic. In the first part are described basic concepts of social services and financing of these services. The second part of this thesis deals with economic and demographic characteristics of regions of Czech Republic. The third, analytical part, is examined structure of social services and her development. Constituent part is time development of indicators, that affect accessibility of services.
Natality and fertility in European countries

The ageing process of population which is getting more and more important in most of the European countries is closely connected with the decrease of total fertility rate below the level of simple reproduction rate. The aim of this thesis is to compare the development of natality and fertility in selected European countries during the last twenty years focusing on a comparison of similarities and differences in the developments with the development in the Czech Republic. The data used for graphs and calculations are from the Eurostat webpages. For the purpose of the analysis, Europe is divided into the northern, western, southern and eastern areas based on the World Population Data Sheet 2011 publication. The thesis also analyses the rate of abortion which influences the rate of natality, and touches marginally the infant and neonatal mortality which is related to the quality of healthcare. The last chapter deals with a description of the population policy which can influence the fertility. The Countries with a low total fertility rate should focus on this policy. Then a future development of the fertility in the Czech Republic is outlined based on the predictions made by the Czech statistical office and made for Ministry of labour and social affairs.
Changes in the age structure of the economically active population

In my bachelor thesis I devote mainly to changes in the age structure of the economically active population of the Czech Republic and the anticipated impacts on our labor market. I use not only the studies carried out by the EU Commission and mention the solution of this problem in the other European Union countries. In the first part of this work I describe the basic demographic indicators, which have a considerable influence on the structural changes. These include the extending particularly life expectancy, as well as fertility rate, mortality rate and finally migration rate. In the second part I focus on the labor market of the Czech Republic and especially to a group of economically active population. I also talk about the economic inactivity and increasing number of students of universities and higher vocational schools. As a practical example I mention the situation in one of the economic organizations, where I focused primarily on the position of managers and employees themselves to the problem of demographic aging. Finally, I deal with the status of the European Union to a problem with changing age structure of the economically active population , where I present the recommended reform of the EU Commission. At the end, I describe the reforms in Germany in the last 20 years that solved the problems with the pension reform and pension system, which might be an example of our governments.
The development of marriage rate, divorce rate and extra-marital fertility in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of marriage rate and divorce rate and extra-marital fertility during the period 1990 - 2010. The work is drawn into four chapters, the first three chapters are devoted to the development of the above-mentioned three demographic events. There is a theoretical example of the demographic terms at the beginning of each chapter which refers to the specific chapter. Following part is dedicated to demographic events and causes which leads to the family behavior's changes. The fourth and final chapter is devoted to the support of families with children. The forms of aid which the state contributes to a better life for families are defined. The three forms direct financial support, indirect financial support and non-financial support for families are described in detail.
Comparison of nuptiality and divorce in the Czech Republic and other EU countries

This bachelor thesis is aimed on analysis of marriage and divorce in Czech republic and other European Union countries. For this analysis we use the latest data from the European Statistical Office. Using this analysis to determine whether there are related to the extent marriage, divorce, depending on the type of establishment and national socio-economic level of those states.
International Comparision of Fertility

The goal of this elaboration is to analyze of fertility of Word population, mainly in countries of European Union. For the best results is Europe dived into four parts by publication Population World data sheet 2010. Analyze of fertility ratio and It's characteristics is based on the web pages of Eurostat. The elaboration compares historical process in parts of the Europe to this time. Decreasing of total fertility ratio under the simply reproduction is linked with population ageing and it is also discussed with the political situation in the country. The elaboration also analyzes political situation in historical events and the present time. Lot of women could go through interrupt their gravidity. Because of it, there is analyzed total and specified rate of pregnancy and it's impact on fertility rates. For the best vision of future process is used prediction based on the database of Eurostat.
Projection of future development of economically active population

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the structure of the population of the Czech Republic in terms of education and economic activity and then draw out its future development. To this variations of the projection is included the development of economic activity in the population compared to the standard demographic projections. This approach allows better assessment of future development economically active parts of the population by its actual participation in the labor market, and not only by age group, as it is in most demographic projections. This work also includes analysis of sex-education-age structure of the population and analysis the reasons for economic inactivity.
Strategies of the translation of French literary works titles into Czech

The aim of the diploma paper Strategy of translation of French literary title into Czech is to define strategy of their translation and determine their statistic relevance. The diploma paper consists of two basic parts - theoretical and practical The theoretical part describes the evolution of francophone literature and development of translation of French literary works into Czech. This part also explains the basic terms {--} title and translation and describes the origin, function and typology of literary title. The theoretical part is enclosed by introducing all different kinds and methods of translation. The practical part consists of bilingual index of original title and Czech translation of literary works translated between 1990 {--} 2006. Introductory part presents a short summary of translation of titles in general and is followed by outlining the strategy of translation based on different semantic diversities. This part is enclosed by graphics work of its statistic relevance.
Tábor - Town and its Journal

This work describes the life in the town Tábor in the second half of the 19th century. It is used the periodical Tábor as a major source. The town is specific from several points of view, the cultural effort and the limitation of czech nation originates i. a. from the Hussite tradition, the town was homogenous in nationality and relegion. A great deal of the work is dedicated to the fact, what was empasised and which topics were observed only in small scale and for which reasons. The periodical concerned chiefly on cultular life, the work is devoted to to the most improtant cultural and nation-making phenomenons of this age in Tábor {--} local theatre, singing club, Sokol organisation, sharpshooter´s club and an unconventional acession to education. Apart from that it is dedicated to to the influence of these agents on the nation {--} development process, followed by the awareness of Czech history, not only in Tábor. The nation and tradition are introduced as the top shelve themes in the cultural life of the society. The main characters of cultural life are introduced to the reader by mentions of famous personalities . Their activities built the nature of the Town for many years later. The changes, which the town went through in both levels {--} tangible and spiritual {--} are also noticed. The work concentrates on the reception of the Hussite tradion, which reinforced the Czech ethnic group gradually, during its transformation into modern nation.
Romanies in the Czech Republic

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to provide an overview oh the situation and behaviour of Romanies in the Czech Republic. The paper deals with particular characteristics of the Roma population, the history and population's prospects in the future. The text is divided into four parts. The first one addresses the history of the Roma population, where Romanies came from, when they appeared in the Czech territory or what was their fate during the Second World War. The second part focuses on demographic characteristics of Roma population. The third part is devoted to social features, particularly to the matters of education and economic activity. The last part of this thesis discusses the projection of Roma population in the future.
