This Master‘s thesis deals with a performance evaluation of a selected business. The first part of the thesis is focused on basic terms and theoretical introduction related to the tools for measuring and evaluating company performance. The next part contains an introduction of the company, a current state assessment and a practical application of theoretical findings. The final part of the thesis includes suggestions for performance and current situation improvement.

The bachelor’s thesis is focused on evaluate of the financial situation of the company selected through financial analysis and proposing to improve the situation. The first part of the thesis is explains given theoretical concepts, methods and basic information about the company. In the practical part contains calculations of the financial analysis including interpretation of results. The last section is devoted to a summary assessment of the situation of the chosen company and suggestions for improvement.

In the next part is outlined the profile of the company with its current situation. In the practical part, the evaluation of the performance is measured by START model. The last section is devoted to a summary assessment of the situation of the chosen company and suggestion for improving the company´s performance.

Irena Novotná Title: A Case Study of Physiotherapy on a Patient with Vertebral Algic Syndrome of the Lower Spine Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide a comprehensive summary of theoretical information related to lower back pain. The work includes a list of the most suitable diagnostic and therapeutic methods to this issue. Lastly, the thesis provides a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with lower back pain. Methods: Throughout the duration of the case study, I applied physiotherapeutic methods and procedures that I had acquired during my three-year study of physiotherapy at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Charles University. Results: The effectiveness of physiotherapeutic care was assessed by comparing the patient's initial and final kinesiological assessment, which are summarized in the chapter titled "Evaluation of Therapy Effect". The therapy had a favorable impact on the patient's overall condition. Conclusion: This bachelor's thesis is based upon continuous professional practice. Revelation of the losses in manufacture

The aim of this thesis was to analyze the contemporary manufacture and on this basis to find out the existing losses. For the exposure of losses in manufacture were used three methods. The first one was the observation which was focused on the warehouse, pressing and transport. Next sources, which were used within the analysis, were internal documents and dialogues with the employees of the company. All suggestions were designed in a way that could be applied in the practice and improve current economic situation in company.
