The wedding of Adam II. of Hradec and Catharine of Montfort
ŘÍHOVÁ, Jana
This thesis deals with the wedding of Adam II. of Hradec and Catharine of Montfort. In a connection with the wedding strategies in the early modern period, this thesis explains the choice of a bride which was very crucial in the aristocratic environment not only for the married couple but also for their wide social surrounding. Then this thesis focuses on the whole ritual of wedding celebration from the courtship to the bride's arrival to the castle in Jindřichův Hradec in 1574. The nobleman's need to represent his noble estate is reflected in this celebration and Adam II. spent a huge amount of money on this wedding even though his domain was highly in debt. The thesis also analyses the wedding poems written in honour of the married couple by humanistic poets. Latin poetry refers to the nobility and ancient origin of the noblemen of Jindřichův Hradec and emphasizes the continuation of the generation which could be achieved only by the posterity. The marriage is observed in a political and religious context of the period because it is closely related to the noblemen of Jindřichův Hradec who had numerous links to the House of Habsburg and also to the following religious development in Jindřichův Hradec, which were catholic thanks to the influence of Catherine of Montfort.
Preventive and remedial conservation methodology for the collection specimens falling within palaeontology and mineralogy endangered by sulphide degradation products
Sklenář, Jan ; Ekrt, Boris ; Sejkora, Jiří ; Kolesar, Peter ; Gazdová, Zuzana ; Malíková, Radana ; Nohejlová, Martina ; Kotlík, Petr ; Novák, Michal ; Ďurovič, Michal ; Říhová Ambrožová, Jana
The methodology is a complex system of procedures involving experimentally verified as well as modified already known methods, completely novel procedures, and their combinations. Many technologies as well as materials are employed for the first time in this field. Modifications of the existing methods bring either effectivity improvements, invasivity reduction or both. This methodology is the very first to cover all phases of the collection material treatment from acquisition to final storage. The methodology structuring follows logical succession of procedures. The theoretical chapter summarizes grounds of the degradation process, materials endangered with sulphide degradation and products of it. Area maps of types of sulphides labelled by process of origin, and a map of high-risk Czech localities are also involved. This introductory chapter is followed by part devoted to methods of field work and early care, suitable preventative collection care, and procedures of the remedial care. A special remedial care chapter for paper-documentation is also involved. This chapter is followed by instrumental methods useful for detection of degradation products and their influence on specimen condition. A separate part focuses on suitable ways of documentation. The safety-hazards chapter closes the methodology. The methodology is equipped with a list of references and flow diagrams helping the user to find the suitable procedure fast and easily. The methodology project was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic under NAKI DF12P01OVV031.

The symbiotic bacteria of lice of genus \kur{Polyplax}: general phylogenetic and genomic characterisation
ŘÍHOVÁ, Jana
Blood-sucking lice of the genus Polyplax harbour two bacterial endosymbionts, one from family Legionellales and the other from family Neisseriales. Fylogenetic and genomic analyses reveal typical features of endosymbiotic bacteria and coevolution history with the host. In the genome of the endosymbiont from family Legionellales I found operon, which encodes biosynthesis of biotin, essential vitamin, especially for blood-sucking insects living on low-nutrient diet. This operon was probably horizontally transfer from Wolbachia, nutrient endosymbiont of bedbug Cimex lectularius.

Work of self-help groups of home nurses for people with Alzheimer´s disease
ŘÍHOVÁ, Jana
The current trend of general mature of population brings the broad range of serious consequences, mainly the increase of incidence and prevalence of diseases, which occur much often by the older people. From the medical and socio-economical point of view, the most serious disease is the aphreina, because the prevalence of this disease by the people older 60 years together with increasing age has the exponential character. The deterioration of the patient` s condition is also a big stress for the family. It is very difficult to accept the fact of the gross degeneration of closed person` s personality and don{\crq}t change the attitude to him. The patient is still physically present, but his mentality has been changed, he lost his personality. ``Is he, but it isn{\crq}t him anymore.{\crqq} The technology of controlled conversation, casuistic and secondary analysis of data has been used for the qualitative research. The controlled conversations was done at Senior hospice Maj. The group was consist of 5 family members of patient, who has the Alzheimer disease, 5 nurses from the department with special regime and 3 social workers. The secondary analysis of data was realized on the basis of statistics, which has been already published at the Grade theses called: ``The problems family nurses caring for the patients with Alzheimer disease.{\crqq} For this analysis, the 15 informants have been used. Within the stated aim {--} to chart the activities of self-helping groups - I have used the data published at Annual report of Czech Alzheimer` s company from 2005. I have also made uncontrolled conversation with coordinator of self-helping group at Ceske Budejovice. The results of the research showed that the biggest problem with the devotion about the patient is the psychical stress. The rest, relaxation, fun, etc. could help to feel better. If these principals are followed, the most of the problems will never occur. The help of further people is necessary to fulfill these points. The research refer to problem of nonavailability of self-helping groups, family nurses caring for the patients with Alzheimer disease within the specific region of Czech Republic and also refer to low awareness about their existence and their activities. I hope that my thesis help to home-nurses to predate the problems, which have been mentioned here {mainly the mental ones}, and also helps to existing self-helping groups.
Elektrické výboje pro využití při čištění vody
Lukeš, Petr ; Člupek, Martin ; Babický, Václav ; Tothová, I. ; Vykouk, T. ; Říhová -Ambrožová, J. ; Janda, V.
Non-equilibrium plasma generated by electrical discharges in liquids initiate various chemical and physical processes that can be potentially utilized in different environmental, biological or medical applications. Depending on the type of the discharge and the input energy these processes include high electric field, ultraviolet radiation, overpressure shock waves and, of particular importance, formation of various reactive chemical species. It has been demonstrated that these physical and chemical processes are capable to inactivate or degrade various microorganisms and chemical compounds dissolved in water. In this presentation an overview of basic principles of electrical discharges in water will be given with particular emhasis to the pulsed (electrohydraulic) discharges, the physical and chemical effects initiated by these discharges in water and their utilization for water treatment applications.
