Heating of the building with a restaurant
Čechlovská, Michaela ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to design a heating system for a two-floor building containing a restaurant on the 1st floor, and a guest house on the 2nd floor. The building has a flat roof. The thesis is divided in three parts: theoretical, calculating, and project documentation part. The theoretical part focuses on the heat pumps: basic information, history, principle of functioning and types of pumps. The ground / water heat pump is studied in detail. The calculating part presents the heating project itself and the proposal of hot water preparation. The building is heated by the means of underfloor heating as well as a system of heaters. The heat source is designed as a ground-water heating pump with vertical ground collectors. The ventilation of the 1st floor is forced via two HVAC units, the ventilation of the 2nd floor is natural. The preparation of hot water is assured by two non-direct heating storage tanks for preheating and reheating water. Preheating by solar collectors. The project documentation part contains the technical analysis and drawing documentation.
Large-area heating/cooling systems
Čechlovská, Michaela ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with heating and cooling of an administrative building with a cafe. The thesis is divided into three parts – theoretical, practical and experimental. The theoretical part deals with large-scale heating and cooling systems. Ceiling heating and cooling systems are described with their advantages and disadvantages. Another topic which is described are the types of hydraulic connection of the system. The practical part is devoted to the actual design of the heating and cooling of an administrative building with a cafe. This part deals with two options of the proposal. In both of these variants, an air/water heat pump is designed as a source of heat and cold. As a first option, heating and cooling are designed using ceiling active plasterboard panels and radiators. In the second variant, a system with heating elements is designed for heating and fancoil under-ceiling units are designed for cooling. The experimental part deals with measurements, which are focused on a ceiling panel used for heating and cooling. The measurement deals with determining the properties of a single ceiling panel. The role of this measurement was to determine the pressure losses at different flow rates, peak performance and efficiency of this ceiling panel.
