Methods for measurement of data network performance and quality parameters
Sukup, Luboš ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
Master thesis involves the development of quality measurement issues and performance parameters in data networks. It describes the main technologies as they affect the quality and performance parameters and the effect of these parameters for voice, video and data services. Next are listed some methods for measuring parameters of the data network. In the practical part is selected one method of measuring network parameters and properties of this method are demonstrated by illustrative examples.

NiCd, NiMH and Li-ion accumulator charger supplied and controlled via USB
Nosek, Petr ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
Deals with analysis and battery charging NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion through a series of microcontroller from Atmel AVR controlled and powered from a PC via USB. Part is devoted to the characteristics of the USB interface and software capabilities to the enumeration AVR microcontroller. It also contains the basic characteristics of charged batteries, including the known methods of charging. The second half of the tehesis then provides a complete design and implementation of battery chargers, which consists of electronic parts, ATMEGA168 microcontroller program and the program for the PC. Presents circuit diagram of the charger and flowcharts of the main features of the program. The result of this thesis is functional battery charger above types. Attachments include a proposal DPS, a full circuit diagram and the charge and discharge characteristics of cells. The thesis is also referred to annex to the optical disk. Here it is mainly programs for microcontroller and PC. They are listed here as well as individual projects for AVR Studio, Borland Builder C + + and Eagle, which was created by chargers.

Model of computer network in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment
Zedníček, Petr ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Kolka, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with simulation of TCP protocol behaviour in Wireless optical environment. The thesis examines the various parameters of the protocol and evaluates their response to the transmission speed. The key objectives of the thesis are the introduction to the problems of communication, specially the description of the transport layer architecture, TCP / IP and congestion management mechanism NewReno. A large part of the thesis is devoted to modelling communication points and a model of optical wireless connections. The results will be applicable to create a new communication protocol for Wireless optical environment.

Quantum-safe cryptography
Hovanová, Tatiana ; Člupek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of quantum computatutions and their use in cryptanalytic algorithms. The introductory chapters are devoted to explaining the basic concepts of quantum theory and quantum operations. Part of the thesis describes effects, that affect DiVincenzo’s criteria, such as superposition, quantum entanglement, quantum interference, decoherence, and quantum error correction. The current quantum computer chapter deals with the current stage of the quantum computer development by IBM, D-Wave and Intel. Shor’s and Grover’s algorithm are described from cryptoanalytical algorithms, and their impact on security is also described. Post-quantum cryptography is represented by cryptosystems from four basic directions: hash-based cryptography (Lamport’s scheme, Merkle’s scheme), cryptography based on coding theory (McEliece cryptosystem), grid-based cryptography (NTRU cryptosystem) and cryptography based on polynomial equations (stream cipher QAUD). The next part of the thesis is devoted to the design of a web-based educational application that includes, among other things, laboratory tasks demonstrating the current possibilities of quantum circuits. The website explains the principles of selected operations, cryptosystems and algorithms in the form of animations. The first laboratory task deals with the introduction to quantum computations. It contains five partial tasks explaining the basics of quantum operation (Hadamard, X-rotation, Z-rotation, Y-rotation, etc.). The second task includes instructions for constructing the Grover’s algorithm using the Quirk simulator.

Possibilities of Financing of Investment Project in the Business Company
Kalinová, Ivana ; Hučková, Hana (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is aimed towards overview of current possibilities of financing of an investment project. First part of the thesis is concentrated towards explaining of the terms such as financing, division of sources of financing into individual groups, there are also stated basic information regarding sources of financing. In the practical part, there are noted individual possibilities of financing of a selected investment program based on deliveries of an investment unit into Russian Federation. In the final part of the thesis, there is carried out a comparison of specific possibilities of financing of an investment program, its evaluation from the utility point of view is summarized and there is a recommendation of an optimal variation of financing of the mentioned investment unit.
