Answers on research questions are analysed in the practical part. The main research question is: In which ways are the garden therapeutic elements used in retirement homes? and the other research question is: What is the contribution of garden therapy as a healing therapeutic approach in retirement homes? The questions were answered in the form of half-structured interviews with the help of intended choice of communication partner technique. According to results, it turns out that garden therapy has a positive influence in psychological and physical way. The results only include information given by 11 communication partners from chosen retirement homes. The results of this bachelor's thesis could be used as a feedback for retirement homes and the employees, who provide and develop garden therapy. Further, the results might be useful for other social service providers, who consider the usage of garden therapeutic elements as a part of services provided or medical facilities as a support to healing process.

Charles University in Prague Faculty od Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control Candidate: Lucie Vondrášková Supervisor: PharmDr. Petr Kastner, Ph.D. Title of thesis: Evaluation of miconazole and metronidazole in the preparation using HPLC The subject of this work is the development and validation of a method for the simultaneous analysis of metronidazole and miconazole in the preparation using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). A sample of the Klion D-100 drug (vaginal tablets) containing 100 mg of metronidazole and 100 mg of miconazole-nitrate was analyzed. Klion D-100 is used in the therapy of genital trichomoniasis and candidiasis in females. As a stationary phase for the HPLC analysis a MERCK- LiChrosper 60 RP- select B 5 µm, 4x 125 mm sorbent was used. A mixture of methanole and potassium carbonate buffer solution in ratios 80: 20 a 20: 80 (v/v) was selected as a mobile phase with the use of gradient elution. The flow-rate was set to 1 ml/min. The sample was injected in 10 µl batches with the temperature set to 25 žC. The detection of samples was undertaken with the wavelength fixed at 235 nm. The developed method was validated using the following criteria: linearity, precision, accuracy and selectivity.
