Multilingualism and the linguistic landscape of Písek
Váňa, Ondřej ; Nekvapil, Jiří (advisor) ; Sloboda, Marián (referee)
The thesis describes the multilingual linguistic situation in the public space of the town of Písek on the basis of an ethnographic analysis of its linguistic landscape (LL), informed by the ideas of Jan Blommaert. The main methods used are field data collection, coupled with a complementary online research, and participant observation, in which I take on the role of a customer or a "curious" passer-by. All field research was carried out in the years 2021-2022. Based on my observations, I describe the stratified linguistic situation according to the placement and function of individual languages, perform a closer analysis of selected signs in the LL, taking into account the question of their authors' and addressees' identity, and offer insight into the life of individual language communities and the ways in which they present themselves or are presented in the LL. In a relatively small Czech town, I thus uncover a surprisingly diverse and complex situation.
Comparison of law requirements solutions in ERP and development of ad hoc application
Janoušek, Tomáš ; Oškrdal, Václav (advisor) ; Váňa, Ondřej (referee)
Master thesis is focused on how a change of Czech law affects functionality of information systems. Content of the work is describing a reactions of information systems suppliers to keep functionality with a current law. Thesis is focused on ERP systems especially SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Helios. Defining of a new functionality is done by analyzing Value-added tax act, Electronic records of sales act and Accounting act. According to the change of accounting act we develop ad hoc application to keep duty defined by law.
Symmetric probe in drifting plasma
Fiala, Vladimír ; Jásenský, Václav ; Váňa, Ondřej
Here we are presenting a preliminary study of a probe designed for measurement of plasma drift by means of a transfer impedance probe operated near oblique resonance in a magnetized plasma.
Numerical simulations of strong Turbulence
Jásenský, Václav ; Trávníček, Pavel ; Váňa, Ondřej
The algorithm developed and tested in our previous paper (Jásenský et al.) for numerical solving of Zakharov equations is used for simulations of strong turbulence. The creation and anihilation of caverns is observed in order to predictions of Zakharov and Robinson theory.
Numerical computation of Radiation of Dipole antennas in magnetized plasma
Jásenský, Václav ; Trávníček, Pavel ; Váňa, Ondřej
We are presenting here the computation of electric field of an V-dipole antenna which is a part of OEDIPUS-C experiment. The field is computed using both numerical Filon method and stationary phase method. It seems that for the points sufficiently far-away from the resonance connes both methods give the same result. the field is computed analytically in the cold plasma approximation.
Numerical simulations of Zakharov equations with periodical boundary conditions
Jásenský, V. ; Váňa, Ondřej ; Vaněk, D. ; Trávníček, Pavel
A method of numerical solution of Zakharov equations for the study of Langmuir turbulence in a plasma was coded and tested for one dimensional nonlinear wave processes.
Measurement of ICT cost and benefits
Váňa, Ondřej ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
This diploma paper deals with measurement and management of corporate ICT costs and benefits. The main objective is to propose a set of metrics and dimensions, which can be used to measure performance of corporate ICT. Other objectives are: analyze ICT cost and benefits, describe methods of their management, introduce ValIT framework as an approach to acquiring benefits from IT investment. In order to meet all these objectives the paper is divided into three parts. In the first part basic principles of corporate IT economics and management are described. The second part is dedicated directly to ICT costs and benefits, and methods of their management. In the last part, ValIT and my set of metrics and dimensions are introduced. The main benefit of this work consists of the proposal of metrics and dimensions for corporate ICT performance measurement, and ICT costs and benefits detailed analysis.
Analyzuje ASP z různých úhlů pohledu, snaží se nalézt silné a slabé stránky v jednotlivých oblastech, tj. ekonomické, technologické a obchodně organizační.
