Efficiency increasing of assembly cell
Dvořák, Radim ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with increasing the efficiency of the assembly workplace (production line). Thesis gradually discusses with lean production, their basic methods and the EURO VI emission standard, which is closely related to the produced product. In the main part, an analysis of the current state is performed with the help of the above-mentioned methods and a proposal of solutions to ensure efficiency. On the base of these findings, the automation of the test station is proposed, including a 3D model, drawing documentation, phases of implementation and real cost calculations with a final assessment of efficiency, return of investments and risk analysis. The second elaborated complementary variant deals with the ergonomics of the production line and includes a 3D model of newly designed tables, real calculations and final economic evaluation.
Design of a hydraulic pressure system of a powered exoskeleton
Tomeček, Michal ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to design a hydraulic system for robotic exoskeleton actuation. In the first part of the thesis a list of available sources of exoskeleton designs, is presented, followed by a thorough systematic analysis of hydraulic system elements and their use for this application, is made. The second part of the thesis consists of the hydraulic system design, as well the mechanical design for the hydraulic system which is subsequently tested structurally in the Autodesk Inventor software. The last part of the thesis consists of risk analysis and critical evaluation of thesis‘ results.
Design of composite isolator winder
Menšík, Martin ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master thesis is the construction of a single-purpose machine used for reeling of composite insulator. In the first part is described the technology of reeling completed by the analysis of used components. Based on the findings, the final constructional version with necessary calculations is stated. The result of this thesis is a 3D model of the chosen design together with drawings and calculations of given parts.
Modern methods for assessing workplace ergonomics
Pekařová, Jana ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is an assessment of the current state of knowledge in the field of workplace ergonomics. Based on the theoretical part, the assessment of Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute workplace using RULA method is processed. Evaluation and recommendations for practice follow.
Safety of bee frame making machine
Čagan, Petr ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
In the research part, this bachelor's thesis elaborates on the legislative requirements regarding the operation of simple machinery, including the method of safety analysis in accordance to ČSN EN ISO 12100. The second part contains a description and safety analysis of the bee frames making machine, including proposed measures and treated risks.
Design of end effectors for a robotic cell
Hirsch, Radim ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the structural design of end effectors for the ABB IRB 4400/60 industrial robot within the robotic cell in the laboratory of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics. The first part of this thesis is focused on detailed research in the field of manipulation end effectors and systems for automatic exchange of end effectors. The next chapters offer a system breakdown and an analysis of the effectors currently used. The following two chapters discuss the design variants of the new solution, which are evaluated using multicriteria analysis. The design chapter describes the implementation of the new automatic end effector exchange system and offers a description of the newly designed effectors, based on verification calculations, as well as robot load analysis for each effector. At the end, an economic evaluation, discussion and evaluation of the proposed structure and conclusion are carried out. This work includes 3D models of the end effectors, their stand, as well as drawing documentation, including a pneumatic connection diagram.
Optimizing the design of the workshop belt grinder
Vodička, Tomáš ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with optimalization of already existing design of belt grinder on basis of trial operation and design based on optimalization. In the research part are mentioned basics of grinding and categorization of belt grinders. In next part, the reader is introduced to existing design. Following by analysis of flaws and part about optimalization, where flaws are resolved, and new optimised design is checked by engineering calculations.
A design of engraving plotter
Brtník, Vojtěch ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis, in addition to the actual design of the laser engraving laser, contains basic information about laser engraving technology and marking used in industry. It explains the physical principle of the laser and the laser source, which is essential to understand and classify laser modules. Provides an up-to-date market survey of the laser engraving modules and engraving plotters in use. In the design part, the design of an engraving plotter for SMC company is carried out using 3D models in Solidworks 2022 according to the specified parameters. The plotter design includes the selection of a suitable linear motion unit with electric drive, the assumed control, control calculations and the design of the plotter structural elements. The next section deals with the design of the support part and includes safety and functional elements. The paper concludes with a cost evaluation and recommendations for practice.
Welding manipulator construction design
Fuks, Šimon ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a five-axis welding manipulator as an additional device to a welding table. The research focuses on knowledge from arc welding automation, especially on the use of industrial robots and manipulators in this area. A rich selection of accessories for robotic arc welding is also summarized. In the practical part, several conceptual variants are proposed, and the most suitable variant is further developed. The basic technical calculations of the manipulator are presented and the individual construction details are discussed. Furthermore, the work deals with the safety and control possibilities of the designed manipulator. The work also includes a drawing of the overall assembly.
