Power soldering station 500W

This thesis contains a complete description of the design and implementation of a 500W transformer soldering station. This soldering station includes a half-bridge DC/DC converter with a pulse transformer. The device works with a very low voltage and extremely high output current. Therefore some parts have a special design to ensure the proper equipment function. Coaxial transformer with very low leakage inductance (nH units) is unusual. A synchronous rectifier is another special feature working with low voltage and high output current of the transformer. The finished functional prototype consists of a soldering station and a soldering adapter.
Adjustment an intersection Rerychova x Foltýnova in Brno

The subject of the bachelor thesis is to suggest an adjustment of a local cross intersection in Brno Bystrc. The existing intersection is too vast and obfuscated and does not guarantee safe operation of vehicles and pedestrians. The aim of the thesis is to adjust this vast intersection while maintaining all the standards and regulations and also suggest its mini roundabout version. The traffic volume is calculated based on the obtained camera recording. Then a project part of both version is conducted together with the capacity calculation and the estimated budgets for both proposals.
Modern Mathematical Methods of the Analysis and Synthesis of AC Machines

The doctoral thesis is divided into three main parts with a focus on induction motors. The first part deals with the electromagnetic design and analysis of windings of AC ma-chines. There is introduced the density of conductors, which describes the distribution of the windings in the slots. There is derived general formula for calculation of the total winding factor applicable to any type of winding. The second part of this work deals with the acceleration method of the induction motors torque-speed characteristics measurement. The measured characteristics are used for exact identification of the equivalent circuit parameters of induction motor. The third section is focused on a very precise identification of the equivalent circuit parameters of induction motor in the form of -circuit. The identification is based on mutual comparison of measured and calculated torque-speed and current-speed characteristics.
The electric precipitator

The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the issue of power separation. The first part describes the principle of power separation process. The second part deals mainly with mechanical parts and their function inside the electric precipitator. The third part focuses on the use of electrostatic precipitators and system management. The last section is devoted to design an electric precipitator according to the specified parameters. Due to the dominance of electric separators company ZVVZ-Enven Engineering, Milevsko from the Czech and Slovak Republics, the work focuses primarily on the products offered by their production program.
Lipůvka – turbo roundabout of roads I/43 and II/379

This thesis builds on previous work on an Institute of Roads FAST VUT dealing with modifications of road I/43 Brno – Svitavy. A conversion of the existing temporary three leg single lane roundabout to egg turbo roundabout with four legs, is proposed there, in accordance with local plan of Lipůvka. The intersection of road I/43 and II/379 can be characterized by large congestions in the morning peak hours during weekdays and afternoon peak hours on Saturday and Sunday. That is the reason for implementation of capacity assessment of designed turbo roundabout and comparison with current situation. Construction of fourth leg is motivated by the planned expansion of residential area and the development of industrial zone on the south-western outskirts of the village and rerouting of the county road II/379 out of built-up area as well. Road I/43 is an important thoroughfare north of Brno, so it is obvious effort to eliminate the bottlenecks on the route. The thesis also includes a theoretical introduction dealing with the design of turbo roundabouts abroad.

Modification of local roads in the village of Výrovice

The aim of my bachelor thesis is modification of local roads in Vyrovice village. The road is located on the square of the Vyrovice village, where it forms a uniform asphalt surface in the current state. As part of the proposed modifications, traffic on the main road will be directed. The main road is followed by secondary road and special-purpose road. My solution will use the space more effectively. It will lead to reduction of traffic surface, but at the same time it will create more space for greenery and improve draining properties of rain water.
Measurement of the losses in ferromagnetic materials

The first part of this thesis deals with the basic division of magnetic circuits and materials which are used for their construction. The next section focuses on the description of losses in the magnetic circuit. There is a description of hysteresis losses and eddy losses. The chapter contains the theoretical basis for the mathematical description of hysteresis and eddy losses. There is an analysis of the losses caused by the first harmonious and additional losses caused by harmonics. The third part describes the measurement of losses in ferromagnetic materials. There are all methods that are used. The fourth and fifth chapter is devoted to practical measurement hysteresis losses 1. phase transformer and measuring eddy losses in the inductor using the pulse method.
Blansko - roundabout Masarykova x Susilova

The subject of the thesis is a design of variants of the solutions of the existing intersection streets of Masarykova, Sušilova and Nádražní in the town of Blansko. The reason for its processing is to find out the possibility of a prospective solution of the intersection. The output of the work is proposed two variants and their comparison in terms of capacity and traffic. The work also contains an evaluation of the traffic survey, capacity assessment of prospective intensities, price estimation of both variants and verification of the passage of the roundabout. The proposed variants improve static transport in the area.
