Ecohydrological survey of river habitat quality - application to study area of the Zbytinsky brook catchment
Bímová, Tereza ; Matoušková, Milada (advisor) ; Tátosová, Jolana (referee)
Eco-hydrology represents a new approach to managing and protection of water bodies. Creates a new option of protection, revitalization and use rivers. Essential components in assessing the quality of streams are biological, hydromorphological and physical-chemical elements. This study is mainly focused on the review of the ecohydrological research in the upper Blanice river basin. Introduction is short overview of the current valid legislation of the European Union and the Czech Republic which creates a basic framework for assessing the ecological quality of streams. The aim is to summarize existing knowledge and assessment of surface water quality in terms of chemistry based on available data. The territories concerned are catchments of Zbytinský stream and Tetřívčí stream.

Ecohydromorphological survey of streams in nature protected areas: application in the Klíčava River catchment
Šilhánová, Věra ; Matoušková, Milada (advisor) ; Hůla, Petr (referee)
The focus of this thesis is on the application of ecohydromorphological survey of a small watercourses flowing through the Landscape Protected Area Křivoklátsko (LPA Křivoklátsko). A brief characterization of the study are, the catchment area of the Klíčava River, was written based on the study of literature as well as on the digital and analogue bases. The specificity of this region lies in the presence of the valley reservoir Klíčava, Lánská deer-park and the LPA Křivoklátsko. Two different methods of a stream habitat survey were applied, the Czech field survey method the EcoRivHab (Matoušková, 2003, 2007) and the River Habitat Survey - RHS (Environmental Agency, 1997, 2003) from the United Kingdom used in the UK and some other European states. This thesis examines the possibility of the application of these methods on a small watercourse running through a hilly country with a significant proportion of natural reaches, which are situated mainly in the Lánská deer-park. These regions were used as models for definitions of reference localities. The most anthropogenically impacted reaches were localized in the upper part of the Klíčava catchment area, which has been in the recent past intensively used for agricultural purposes, nowadays it is only used extensively. This part of the watercourse has been...

Negativní antropogenní vlivy v povodí Bíliny (Česká republika): Ekohydrologický monitoring vodních toků v kontextu evropské Rámcové směrnice o vodní politice 200/60/ES
Katedra fyzické geografie a geoekologie, Přírodovědecká fakulta UK v Praze, Praha ; Matoušková, Milada
Sborník se zabývá metodami hydroekologického průzkumu vodních toků a fyzického habitatu vodních toků v České republice a v zahraničí. Popisuje současný stav fyzického habitatu vodních toků v České republice. Shrnuje možnosti revitalizace vodních toků a její udržitelnosti. Příspěvky ve sborníku: Metody ekohydrologického hodnocení kvality habitatu vodních toků, Mapování a geoinformatická analýza upravenosti toků a údolní nivy jako faktoru povodňového rizika na příkladu povodí Blanice, Metoda ekomorfologického hodnocení kvality habitatu vodních toků EcoRivHab, Ekomorfologický monitoring vodních toků v povodí Rolavy, Ekomorfologický monitoring říční sítě v povodí Klíčavy, Ekomorfologický monitoring vodních toků v povodí Rakovnického potoka, Ekomorfologický monitoring vodních toků v povodí Košínského potoka, Ekomorfologický monitoring říční sítě v povodí Liběchovky, Ekohydromorfologický průzkum a antropogenní transformace řeky Bíliny, Možnosti využití distančních dat za účelem hodnocení kvality habitatu vodních toků, Srovnávací studie jakosti povrchových vod v povodí Rolavy, horní Blanice a Liběchovky, Revitalizační opatření za účelem zlepšení kvality habitatu vodních toků – modelová studie z povodí Rolavy, Hydromorfologický monitoring zrevitalizovaného koryta Sviňovického potoka.
