Interaction between a teacher and a student in the group-form method of teaching skiing
Jedličková, Eva ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Interaction between a teacher and a student in the group-form method of teaching skiing Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare the interaction between the teacher and the student in the process of teachig skiing in the foreign ski schools. Methods: In our thesis we used the method of observation with utilization of categorial system according to the standardized method MADI (modificated analysis of didactic interaction). This method involves seven categories describing forms of behaviour of a teacher, didactic content of training, didactic situation and the postural activity. Results: The teachers' profiles were proved to be different, which was caused primarily by the amount of experience and partially by the gained education. The results showed that the main differences were manifested at the teacher number three who gained the shortest practices. This teacher diametrically differs in all examined categories from other teachers. Between the other two teachers there were found differences as well, but not essential. The teacher number three commited many didactitc faults. Some of his forms of behaviour, demonstration and action were not coherent with the process of learning so that they were not able to be analysed. Keywords: ADI, MADI, ski school, ski education
Functional load issues in freeskiing
Balla, Dušan ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Title: Functional load issues in freeskiing. Objectives: The aim of this thesis paper is to prove functional load in freeskiing. Methods: Research of available documentations and information. Measurement was done by sport tester divisor followed by analyses of data. Results: Only in ski performance called jibbing the heart rate frequency became stable at 160-180 beats per minute in relation to physical activity. In the activity big-air and half-pipe, the heart beat frequency become stable after load. The biggest fluctuations in heart rate frequency were analyzed in big-air activity done in a pre stage before load. We can attribute this to emotions, adrenalin and conditioned reflexes. In half-pipe activity, the longest follow up phase of heart rate frequency returned to baseline. This shows the greatest intensity of load out of all measured activities. Keywords: freeskiing, functional load, heart rate
Comparison of Individual and Group Instruction of Downhill Skiing through the ADI method
Disman, Petr ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Comparison of Individual and Group Instruction of Downhill Skiing through the ADI method The aim of the work Compared didactic interaction "teacher - pupil" in individual and group lessons for downhill skiing at the 10 year-old children at the beginner level. Methods It used the method of observation using standardized category system by ADI technique (analysis of didactic interactions). There are 9 categories that define molds teacher behavior, behaviors pupil or group of pupils in office, the forms of speech teacher, attitudinal teacher activity and expression of peace substance, type of activity that is subject didactic interaction and the learner, groups or the entire class. Designing compensation program for downhill skiers
Tietz, Jan ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Designing compensation program for downhill skiers Goal: main objective is creating a compensatory training plan in a form of appropriate sample of a compensation exercises based on modified kinesiology analysis and incorrect postural variations findings. Method: descriptive essay observing particular cases (casuistry) related to each tested individual. Results: The influence of downhill skiing on a human posture was proven to be possitive in a sence of overloading specific components of kinetic apparatus. In a survey was also shown number of characteristical muscular disbalances which we used for designing compansational program in order to correct these disbalances. Key words: downhill skiing, incorrect postural variations, compensation exercises
Occurrence and Prevention of Asthma in Youth Division Cross-country Skiers
Toman, Lukáš ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Title: Occurrence and Prevention of Asthma in Youth Division Cross-country Skiers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the incidence of asthma in youth division cross-country skiers and its prevention. Methods: This thesis will comprise the method of survey and content analysis of documents. Hypotheses: No.1 Assume that asthma will have lower prevalence in youth division cross- country skiers than in adult cross-country skiers. No.2 Assume that the majority of the surveyed cross-country skiing coaches met with asthmatic symptoms in their athletes. Results: We found that 12% of youth division athletes suffer from asthma and 24% from allergies. Keywords: cross country skiing, respiratory diseases, bronchial asthma, exercise-induced asthma, allergy prevention.

Hynek, Daniel ; Gnad, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Title: Injury rate in the ski resorts in the Czech Republic Objectives: Objective of thesis is to obtain knowledges about injury rate in the ski resorts in the Czech republic Methods: I determined and processed information regarding all data about injury rate during winter seasons from 2003/2004 to 2012/2013 in the Czech Republic. Main source of all data was the database of Mountain Rescue Service in the Czech republic. Results: My results show summary of the total number of accidents in each winter seasons. Percentage of injury in alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross country skiing of all injuries. The most common types of injuries and injury localization in the ski resorts in the Czech Republic for the season 2003/2004 - 2012/2013. Winter preparation for squash players
Cendelín, Jan ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Winter preparation for squash players Objectives: The main aim is to make a week-long traning plan for winter concentration for squash players. The next aim of this work is to find out if present instructors use supplemental sports as compensational exercise, and what is their opinion of an early specialization and a training matching ontogeny. Methods: In my thesis I used a method of data collection, concretely document analysis and a public inquiry. Inquiry questions are divided into three groups: close answers (answers YES/NO), select from concrete answers and open answers. In document analysis are used multi media, virtual dates and objective dates. Results: I found out that most of squash instructors organize sports concentrations. Most of respondents prefer summer preparation to winter preparation. Squash instructors use compensational exercise regularly, but do not use supplemental sports very often. Winter sports use just about third of respondents. Some instructors forbid some sports. Especially it concerns tennis and badminton (because of the different struck technique). I made training plan like a winter preparation for squash players, which includes down hill skiing and cross country skiing. It is focused on condition and progress coordination ability. Analysis of training unit in squash
Stöckelová, Martina ; Süss, Vladimír (advisor) ; Matošková, Petra (referee)
Title: Analysis of training units in squash Targets/aims:The aim is to identify as squash coaches divided their training session and how gradually shift the individual exercises in the main part of the lesson and at what level of exertion these exercises are. The second aim is using the MADI clarify which aspects of interactions take place between coach and player of squash in the training session. Methods: At work we used the method of participant observation, where the researcher was that of a full observer. Data were collected by video and audio recording of acquisition training session thirty squash coaches. Data analysis was performed using the modified analysis didactic interaction and observation method using a categorical system was used to analyse the structure of the training session. The results were interpreted comparisons. Results: When we are analysing the structure of the training session, we found that most of the wards of the coaches training workout begins musculoskeletal system load, half of the coaches listed as the main part in the correct sequence specific exercise intensity and almost half of the wards of the coaches' momentum system performs regeneration after intensive physical activity. We found that the method of teaching interactions for coaches is very different....
