Bořík, Milan ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Kregl, Jan (referee)
Title: Training of offensive game activities of an individual during games in a small space in the 5th class (category U10) Goals: The main aim of these bachelor thesis is to create modern exercises, which are combination of games and skills in one unit. The exercises are focused on the development of two game activities of an individual and on the basic movement skill of skating. For each of these skills, I assigned ten exercises in small area games. Methods: In my bachelor thesis I used a qualitative description of exercises, which are focused on two skills that fall into the game activities of the individual and one basic movement skill skating. The stack of exercises is therefore focused on these skills in the U10 category. The exercises were created by combining games and skills together, so the exercises are very varied and suitable for the category. To create, I used the theoretical basis of the work itself, which I combined with the methodology of the Czech Hockey Association and my own experience, which brought me mainly movement games. Each exercise has a given form of difficulty, according to which we include the exercise in the training plan. The meaning of work: Efforts to improve training units, as games in a small space are known to many coaches only as 1vs1 or 3vs3. Kids need more variety, so...

Beran, Václav ; Kregl, Jan (advisor) ; Vojta, Zdeněk (referee)
Title: Impact of unilateral load and its compensation of muscle imbalances in ice hockey in U14 and U15 of ice hockey players. Objective: To create a stack of exercises and according to it to propose some variations of compensation programme for young hockey players based on the accessible knowledge of unilateral load in hockey and of compensatory exercises. Tasks: One of the tasks of this bachelor thesis is to summarize and compare the knowledge that can be gained from domestic and foreign literature which deals with compensatory exercise while taking into consideration modern trends. Based on this research, another task is to create and draw up the unified compensation programme which includes exercises that can prevent or diminish muscle imbalances. Another task was to summarize general knowledge of muscle imbalances and compensation exercises. Methods: Theoretical part of this theses uses descriptive-analytic method. Practical part is represented by comparative analysis of literature which deals with problematics of muscle imbalances in ice-hockey and compensatory exercises for compensating unilateral load, next he uses the method of proposal and demonstration. Results: After analysing accessible literature, own attitude and experience after consulting experts in the field, the stack of...

Northern Sea Route communication for 21st Century?
Kregl, Jan ; Romancov, Michael (advisor) ; Doboš, Bohumil (referee)
The Northern Sea Route (NSR) is a naval communication between Europe and Asia running along the Arctic coastline of the Russian Federation. For decades, the same maritime corridors have been relied on. However, the international freight shipping volumes keep growing steadily and the Suez and Panama Canals might reach their maximal capacity soon. In order to prevent congestions of these crucial chokepoints, alternative communications have to be found. The NSR can save as much as 40% distance compared to the Suez Route and consequently, the time spent on the voyage decreases by about 10 days. There are several other benefits this Arctic seaway brings, however, some major obstacles impede its further development. In this work, I summarized the history of the Route and analyzed some of its key aspects. The current maritime transport situation and some alternative communications are outlined, too. The main advantages and disadvatages of the Northern Sea Route are presented in order to find out whether this unique naval corridor can serve as a communication for the 21st century and what its future prospects look like. Conclusively, the following research questions are answered: How do the US-Russian territorial disputes and the Russian domestic legislation affect the NSR? What would be the economical...

The development of skating skills in drill and game form of training always took place in the first twenty minutes of the training. The obtained sets of data were recorded and then evaluated in accord with Friedmanan and Wilcoxon tests. Results: In the 6.1 m sprint, the 35 m sprint and the S-Corner test, slalom with a puck test and the crossing with a puck test there was recorded improvement after each intervention. In the crossing without a puck test the difference was recorded only after the drill form of...
