Next part of this thesis is focused on comparison of high-speed camera systems of the most known producers. Finally there is the measurement by high speed camera Olympus i-SPEED 2 and it’s evaluation at the end of thesis.
Estimation of the potential consequences of the release flammable substances
Miček, Michal ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Tabas, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis was aimed to estimate the potential consequences of release of a flammable substance. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part contains selected major industrial accidents in the world and in the Czech Republic and some terms related with the consequences of release of flammable substance. The second part contains a brief description of the program (ALOHA 5.4.3) together with the characteristics of some input parameters for the modeled accidents - fire type Jet Fire of equipment used for the transport of LPG. In the third part are the consequences of the accidents. In the conclusion of this work consequences of modeled accidents are evaluated and compared.
Modern methods of quality management
Kadilák, Tomáš ; Zahálka, Jiří (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis processes topic: Modern methods of quality management. Basic and newer tools of quality management are described in this work and mutual comparison of their use in products’ life cycle. The results were obvious: basic tools are more focused on process itself and measurement of actual process, whereas newer tools design, plan and create completely new process and making it as efficient as possible even before they are brought into practical use. The second part of thesis describes three chosen methods which are diametrically different from previous ones. Kanban, system supporting lean production idea and lowering quantity of storage in process and store room, 5S method is increasing orderliness and lucidity in whole production and on each workplace and DMAIC method is used for complex problem solving and fulfilling customers’ requirements. In the end is evaluation, that despite of high usability of basic and newer tools there are cases in which they fail and is necessary to use one of the three chosen methods.
Estimation of the potential consequences of the release toxic substances
Hajný, Vít ; Kotek, Luboš (referee) ; Tabas, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned about the estimation of possible impact during the toxic material escape and it is devided into three parts. The first of them contains description of the significant accidents connected with this escape in the Czech republic and in the world. It includes also description of CEI (chemical exposure index), which determine the estimation and there is described the ALOHA (Areal locations of hazardous atmosphere), program whereby we can compare results. The second part is performed an identification and choice of typical accidents. In the last, practical section, are made estimates of potential consequences and their comparison.
Verification of prototype must-be quality by customers
Božek, Alexandr ; Tabas, Marek (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The basic requirements represent very significant category of customer requirements in relation to the product quality. The customer does not consider these requirements to communicate the manufacturer because they are automatically expected and customer does not think about them until the moment when the product ceases to carry out them (to satisfy). Nevertheless, it is important to pay appropriate attention to these demands already in pre-production phase. After the prototype production it is necessary to verify the fulfilment of these requirements. The aim of the submitted bachelor theses is analyse the current state in this area and create the procedure for verifying the quality of product prototype by customers, identify customer´s requirements, and finally apply suggested procedure to the specific product.
