Influence of postural change to the pulse wave velocity in the upper limb

This thesis is devoted to the topic of pulse wave velocity in the upper limb based on changes in body position. The work includes a literature search from the mentioned area, where it focuses mainly on the cardiovascular system, the pulse wave, its propagation in the human body, the clinical significance of the pulse wave and the factors that affect it. Pulse wave examination has now become an important part of the preclinical diagnosis of atherosclerosis or arterial stiffness. Examination of the pulse wave velocity as well as examination of the vascular system as part of early diagnosis is highly desirable for the stratification of cardiovascular diseases and subsequent mortality. In this work we will evaluate the speed of the pulse wave based on the time distance between the oscillation R on the ECG and the passage of the pulse wave under the pressure sensor located on the finger. In the MATLAB, a software solution of selected procedures for ECG measurement and blood pressure recording heart rate after heart rate is made. The measured values on a group of volunteers are statistically processed and subsequently discussed.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union Relationshops

The object of this thesis is to study the historical reasons behind the establishment of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union, using the context of the historical events and conditions that led to this as well to examine some of the milestones in their further development. The thesis also looks at organisations that are not so well known today but are significant to the historical background. An emphasis is put on the Cold War era where the principles of these developing organisations were to shape their future, and how both NATO and the EU reacted to the end of the bipolar world system. Cooperation between these two organisations is also examined, in regard to their mutual development and evolution, and future success in maintaining and broadening this partnership.

Default of time in business transactions and its consequences

in English Default of time in business transactions and its consequences The topic of a default of time in business transacions becomes very current in our society, which is one of the reasons I have chosen this topic for my diploma thesis. The objective of my work is to define the conditions due to which the debtor or creditor get in the default of ime and explain the consequences of the default of time of one of the contractual parties. In the thesis I shall focus primarily on the definition of the period for performance of the debtor's obligation, because definition of this matter in the Commercial Code is currently quite difficult to interpret and I shall bring attention to certain problems of the legislation related to the treatment of the consequences of the default of time by any of the parties. I would like to pay more attention to the default of time payment interests, as these are the most typical result of the debtor's default of time. My diploma thesis is divided into nine chapters. The first chapter is the introduction defining the objective of my thesis. The second chapter is called the "Default of time in Business Relationships" and specifies the term "default of time". Effect of mineral fertilizer before sowing the embedding seeders yield poppy (Papaver somniferum L.)

Poppy (Papaver somniferum L.) is plant which is in Czech Republic cultivated and consumed for a long time. Czech Republic was the biggest producer of poppy seeds in the world. It is not true currently but Czech Republic is still one of the most important producers of poppy. Czech growers produce high quality poppy seeds but they had several problems during last years. For example fluctuation of price of poppy and bad weather condition. Those problems influenced crop. Those complications caused that growers of poppy try to have stable yields for good profit. Yield parameters, such as amount and quality of poppy seeds and volume of alkaloids, are the most important for growers. Amount and quality of poppy seeds are important for food industry and volume of alkaloids for pharmaceutical industry. The parameters are influenced especially by climatic and soil conditions. Growers are not able to influence climatic factors such as intensity and regularity of rainfalls, actual temperature and wind conditions. But they can influence other factors by good agrotechnical interventions. One of the most important parameters for good growth of poppy is volume of elements in soil, especially nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, calcium and microelements, boron and zinc. Except that things is very important good soil treatment, suitable technology, right term for sowing and choice of good seeds. For intensive producing of poppy seeds is very important protection against pests, diseases and weed. Like prevention is important good soil treatment and other things such as application of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides and seed dressing by fungicides. This work includes general overview about poppy growing focusing on influence of mineral fertilizers on yields of different variety of poppy. We did experiment, the goal of experiment was to find out influence of application of mineral fertilizers on poppy yields. We used two different variety of poppy and we evaluated influence of said factors. Subjects of observation were yield parameters, amount of plants on 1m2, weight of poppy, weight of capsules and HTS (weight of thousand seeds).
