The influence of microclimate on the inside glass objects

This master thesis deals with the influence of glazing on the microclimate inside buildings. In particular, I focused on the shading coefficient and the various factors that affect it. The thesis also concentrates on the origin and composition of the solar radiation, the formation of thermal stress and refraction. In the next part of the thesis, I focused on designing two variants of shielding factor and its impact on the thermal load of gym, sports hall and the related necessary changes. The last part of the thesis deals with experimental measurements of incident solar radiation passing through the window into real physical model. From the measured values, we determined realistic shading coefficient and then applied it in the previous section of this thesis.

Energy evaluation of apartment building's attic space

The bachelor thesis deals with energy evaluation of apartment building’s attic space at Křenová Street in Brno. The results will be compared with energy consumption values, measured during the last years. The main task is to suggest a more energy efficient solution to the evaluated space. Refrigerants for compression cooling system will be described in the theoretical part of the thesis and, as a result, a refrigerant for the optimized solution will be specified.

Exploring the relationship between species richness and intraspecific trait variability.

This thesis was originated as a contribution to the wide range of biodiversity studies published recently. It focused on the little explored importance of intraspecific variability in plant communities. A pot experiment hold in glasshouse environment was designed to observe influence of biotic interactions in mixtures of various species diversity on species functional traits and productivity. Variability of functional traits of individual species was assessed in relation to increasing species richness and the contribution of within-species variance to the total variance of pot communities was evaluated at different richness levels.

The cooperation of the land plan and complex land consolidation with suggestion of the common facilities

There is solved the cooperation of the land plan and complex land consolidation fot three different cadastral areas - Krtely, Malovičky and Podeřiště. These cadastral areas come under the administration of the community Malovice. The complex land consolidation and land plan were initiated in different order nad in defferent years. The land consolidatin for the cadastral area Krtely was initiated in 1992, for Malovičky in 2005 and for Podeřiště in 2007. Moreover, each project has been prepared by the different design office. The result of the diploma thesis is the assessment of the cooperation during different conditions and also the assessment of the processing quality of single projects.
