Financial analysis of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.

The purpose of this diploma theses is to demonstrate the comprehensive view on the "financial health" of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. through the financial analysis process between year 2003 and 2007 from the position of the external user. The theoretic part of this theses is focused on the brief history, definition and principle of the financial analysis, then on users of the financial analysis and information sources for its realization including the pointing out the limitation of predicative abilities of the accounting data. Understanding of the traditional but also new methods, which are applied within the financial analysis (including the methods of intercompany comparison), is another part of the theoretic definition of the financial analysis. The practical part of the theses deals with the characteristics of T-Mobile company and with processing of the strategic analysis, which put us closer to the outside and inside surroundings of the analysed firm. It is followed by processing of the financial analysis of T-Mobile company (including comparison with its competitors), comments and evaluation of findings and results (including their comparison, where it is possible, with standard (recommended) values or with the "branch average values") and by pointing out strenghts and weaknesses of operations of the analysed company.

Pension reform in the Czech Republic and its impact on the consumer

This thesis considers the pension reform in the Czech Republic and its impact on the consumer. At the beginning it sums up the possibilities of financing the life in retiremnt age and familiarizes the reader with evolution and current level of the pension system in the Czech Republic. It introduces different suggestions of political parties and in analytical part are specified the reasons for change. Then are presented the basic steps for high-quality reform of pension system. In the last chapters is shown the impact on consumer and presented own suggestion for pension reform.

Ochrana spotřebitele ve zdravotnictví

Bakalářská práce "Ochrana spotřebitele ve zdravotnictví" zahrnuje: dlouhodobý program zlepšování zdravotního stavu obyvatelstva ČR - zdraví pro všechny ve 21. století, cíle Světové zdravotnické organizace do roku 2020, právní úpravu ve zdravotnictví v ČR. Popisuje činnost České lékařské komory, České lékárnické komory, České stomatologické kontroly. Dále se zabývá právy pacientů a povinnostmi lékaře. V závěru je nastíněna problematika eutanázie z pohledu historie a současnosti.

Výzkum trhu

Práce podává přehled nejběžněji užívaných metod výzkumu trhu, a to v členění na kvantitativní a kvalitativní výzkum. Na úvod se věnuje definici samotného trhu a výzkumu trhu, poté se zaměřuje na výběr respondentů a podrobněji se zabývá dotazníkem. Ke konci práce jsou uvedeny expertní metody a příklad na frekvenční test, který sama autorka prováděla.

Ochrana spotřebitele na trhu namovitostí

Cílem práce bylo charakterizovat vývoj stavebnictví v ČR, které značně ovlivňuje trh z nemovitostmi a rozhodnutí spotřebitele, popsat chování spotřebitele a trendy na trhu z nemovitosti, zaměřit se na hlavní faktory, které přímo a zprostředkovaně ovlivňuji chování spotřebitele. V dnešní době je téma nákupu nebo výstavby nového bydlení velmi aktuální, proto jsem se pokusil o zmapování nejčastějších úkonů, kterých se zúčastní spotřebitel na trhu z nemovitostmi z právního pohledu. Tímto jsem chtěl upozornit spotřebitele na nebezpečná zákoutí této problematiky a poradit mu jak se má vyhnout zbytečným chybám a nedopatřením. Posledním cílem bylo upozornit spotřebitele na nejčastěji vyskytující se vady u nového bydlení a tímto mu poukázat na možnosti reklamace, při setkání s touto nepříjemnou, ale bohužel běžnou záležitostí.

Hilti, Ltd. - Company valuation

The aim of this thesis is to determine the value of the company Hilti, Ltd. and carry out its valuation for a potential investor. The resulting's valuation is designed for the broadest investment community. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part acquaint the reader with the basic theoretical framework for valuation and the basic concepts and it is explained to select the method of discounting free cash flow for the owners and creditors as of the methods for the valuation. The practical part is, after a brief presentation given to strategic analysis, financial analysis and the establishment of a financial plan. The financial plan was drawn up for the period 2007-2010. Essential pillar for the valuation is the determination of discount rates. That is taken in detail in the next step, and we set it using a weighted average cost of capital. The cost of equity, we have identified using the CAPM. Followed by the actual valuation and the final statement of the value of the company Hilti, Ltd.

Investments into the precious metals and stones

Práce se zaměřuje na oblast drahých kovů a kamenů z hlediska jejich využití k investičním účelům. Zabývá se základními charakteristikami jednotlivých druhů drahých kovů a kamenů, způsoby jejich využití v hospodářství, strukturou trhu s nimi, vývojem ceny s důrazem na hlavní cenové výkyvy, jejich příčiny a důsledky. Dále jsou zmíněny oblasti jejich těžby a společnosti těžbu provádějící. Největší část práce je věnována investičním instrumentům spojeným s drahými kovy a kameny, trhům, na nichž jsou obchodovány, a jejich dostupnosti a vhodnosti pro drobné investory.

Financial analysis of FOLLYX s.r.o.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to analyze and to evaluate financial position of FOLLYX s.r.o. between the years 2003 and 2007. The above-mentioned company is one of the most recognizable wholesalers of its kind throughout the Ústí region. The thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first part applied methodics and users of financial analysis are described, the second part is oriented on description of FOLLYX s.r.o. and its history. The last part concentrates on application of methodics on concrete data of the analyzed company, in conclusion the results are evaluated and some recommendations are given.
