Kadleček, Jiří ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis presents the construction and function of the main types of mechanic turbocharging systems. Furthermore, it contains the analysis of regulating elements and the last chapter involves also the description of the newest trends in the field of turbocharging.
Single cylinder engines enduro category
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the description of typical enduro motorcycle engine and describes its main parts. Next volume concern about chosen types of enduro motorcycles and its en-gines. Achievement of every single engine is shown in dynamometric diagrams. Maintenance schedule which is affected by given achievements is shown in tables. The engines of enduro motorcycles have been partly compared with motocross motorcycle engines
Turbochargers regulation
Staněk, Lukáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis outlines the problem of using the controls of turbochargers regulation in the development and tetsting in the laboratories. The main task is to acquaint the readers with basic pneumatic, mechanical – pneumatic and pneumatical – electronic systems VNT ( Variable Nozzle Turbine) and WG ( Waste gate) turbochargers. Another point of this thesis is to clarify the involvement of a system of monitoring and control elements of the REA (Rotary electric actuators) systems on the turbochargers when tested in a cell or the REA stress tests on a strong base.
Superbike engines
Létal, Filip ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is analysis of superbike engines and technology which are used in serial production. In first part is basic division of current motorcycles engines by quantity of cylinder and their structure. There are also listed typical representatives of each engine category. In second part is analysis of engines parts. Each engine part has its own chapter, where is an analysis of this part done. Analysis is about function, construction and development of the engine parts. There is also comparison of selected motorcycles and their engines. In conclusion is evaluation of current technology.
Equipment and station for engine output testing
Matajsz, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the retrieval of current facilities and workplaces for measuring performance parameters of internal combustion engines. Major focus is placed on the division of each device for measuring performance based on their method of functioning, as well as on equipment workplaces where these facilities are implemented.
Water Cooler for Formula Engine
Malovaný, Daniel ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the radiators and cooling systems used in cars participating in the competition Formula Student/SAE. Furthermore, based on input conditions to make a basic calculation and design of the water cooler and in the end of this work to evaluate the proposal.
Intake manifold of four-stroke naturally aspirated engines
Plašil, Petr ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the glossary topic of intake manifold of four-stroke naturally aspirated engines from the past to the present. This paper list contain information about the intake manifold of four-stroke naturally aspirated engines through the air cleaner, systems of creation fuel mixture across the influence of intake manifold on amount of air in the cylinder using dynamic supercharging, their advantages and disadvantages. There are also described effects of variable valve train systems on charging at the end.
Non-traditional Motorcycle Conception
Brezanský, Vít ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is to introduce some interesting and non-traditional conceptions of motorcycles from the present and also from previous years. In every part reasons are described that led producers of these motorcycles to design conceptions that might be perceived as almost absurd. However not every one of them was forgotten and some succeeded on the roads and race tracks, others will be perhaps successful in a few years. Every part also includes a description of the construction and function followed by the assessment of individual solutions according to their justification, realization, number of pieces sold or race results.
Passenger Vehicles Drive Unit Recent Development
Korenko, Miroslav ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to cover current trends in development of propulsive units of personal automobiles. The introduction describes combustion engines and divides them into categories. The next chapters describe current development of gasoline and diesel combustion engines. The conclusion is aimed for the perspective view into the future and the problem of alternative propulsions.
Automotive Diagnostic Systems
Bůžek, Václav ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is written to make a review abstracting of contemporary systems of automotive diagnostics. It is aimed at the principles of serial and parallel diagnostics and informs about contemporary norms. It brings nearer the basics of used on-board diagnostic systems, including the diagnostics of its components. The thesis also exemplifies the practical functions and possibilities on the elementary diagnosing by using the diagnostic software SuperVag.
