Cast-in-place structure at sewerage plant

The thesis is focused on the design and the assessment of horizontal supporting parts and concrete trough on the sewage pumping station in the Boskovice town. There are parts of thesis: technical report, static analysis, design documentation and visualizations. The technical report describes the proposed solution. Calculation of internal forces was performed by manual calculation and verified by the software RFEM. The design documentation consists of shape and reinforcements drawings of selected structural elements.

Reinforced concrete skeleton construction

The bachelor thesis “Reinforced concrete skeleton construction” deals with the investigation of a department store supporting construction. The aim is to design and evaluate the ultimate limit state of reinforced concrete slabs over the first floor. The analysis of the locally supported slabs is performed by Scia Engineer 2012 software system. The method of the sum of the moments is used to verify the resulting values of internal forces. In addition, the ceiling structure is assessed for pushing through. A part of static calculation is the assessment of a reinforced concrete pillar and a foundation block. The work is accompanied by drawings.

Brick Building Reconstruction

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on reconstruction of brick apartment houses in terms of static load capacity. The thesis summarizes the requirements and information to evaluate the current state of brick buildings, contains both theoretical and practical calculations to assess the load capacity of masonry elements, and suggests possible measures for structures in unsatisfactory conditions.

REINFORCED CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION OF CIVIL BUILDING

The Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the design of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs supported locally over 2.NP civic building, which consists of 5 floors above ground and 2 underground floors. Further work is dealt, with monolithic staircase leading from the 2.NP to 3.NP and column located in 2.NP. All calculations are performed according to Eurocode 2 (EN 1992-1-1).

The bachelor work is aimed on designing of reinforced concrete, monolithic, locally supported floor slabs and fire effects on concrete constructions. Ceiling construction is located on the first floor. Calculation of internal forces is carried out in the Scia Engineer software. There is prepared drawing of the shape and drawing of the ceiling construction. In addition there are mentioned examples of evaluating the effects of fire on concrete constructures.

The bachelor project is aimed for design of monolithic reinforced concrete slab supported locally and stairs over the second floor in administrativ object, elaboration of design and reinforcement drawings to bending and shear. Calculation of internal forces is made by computer program SCIA Engineer with manual verification using simplified methods.
