Evaluation of vocabulary knowledge in preschool children

Diplomová práce je složena ze dvou hlavních částí, části teoretické a části praktické. Část teoretická shrnuje poznatky o slově, slovní zásobě, jejím osvojování v předškolním věku, nastíněna je patologie slovní zásoby. Praktická část hodnotí úroveň slovní zásoby předškolních dětí před nástupem do první třídy základní školy. Nástrojem k tomu je sestavený test skládající se z deseti subtestů, založený pouze na slovní instrukci. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit slovní zásobu dětí předškolního věku po stránce kvantitativní i kvalitativní.

Diploma thesis "Symptoms of stuttering in dynamic" view consider the problematic balbuties from many aspects. This is focused on the one of the most severe and obvious kinds of disturbance in communication skills. The research project of the diploma thesis deals with analysis of lives of Czech and Arabic/Israeli children with balbuties. Apart from the complex analysis I enclose more detailed information about symptoms, ways and possible diagnosis; within the context of practical part I describe methods and techniques which I was using and various therapy possibilities.
Speech theraphy of deaf children

My thesis deals with speech therapy of deaf children at the elementary school. The thesis compares the results of questionaires and observations of speech therapy in the basic schools for deaf children. The aim of my thesis is to map the current state of speech therapy in these schools, and possibly to point out available solutions to current drawbacks.
Group stimulation preschoolers'speech development programme focused on Romany children

Creating a group stimulation preschoolers' programme focused on Romany children has been the main aim of this paper. The programme shall focus on stimulation partial components of speech and other speech related areas. Theoretical part of the paper focuses on the area of culture, upbringing and language of Romas. Further on it focuses on the area of education of Romany children, their specifics and reason for school failures in local school system. The theoretical part of my paper also covers the area of logopedical care in Romany children. Practical part describes a group stimulation preschoolers' programme. It is a speech centred programme. In the latter parts data collected in the programme are compared and final data analysis is perfomed. Forming the above mentioned programme is the final outcome of the diploma paper.
Speech Instruction and the Prevention of Break-downs in Communication Abilities in a Nursery School

This diploma thesis analyzes and compares the legislation frame of pre-primary education within its history from the beginning of institutionalized education of children in our territory. It also introduces the framework of pre-school education and compares the targets and tasks stated for language and speech education, including the program of speech and communication impairments treatment development. The last two chapters describe children speech development theories and preventive training in general. The practice part covers an analysis of questionnaire-based research, which was questioning the kindergarten teachers about their basic and advanced education in field of children speech and communication development, as well as about their cooperation with parents. The Integration of Children with Communication-ability Problems

Subject of this graduation thesis is the integration of children with communication incapacity issue. Theoretic part introduces existing findings from expert literature starting from generic concept to specialized determination. Each of chapters facilitate the progressive view of the problems of integration, specially of early and pre-school care of handicapped children, process, conditions and forms of integration in preschool age. The major part of thesis is dedicated to integration of children with communication incapacity at all. Practical part presents findings of research intent on the quantity and quality of provided care to the integrated children with special educative needs mainly focused on the integration of children with talk defects during the last five years. Information presented in this thesis could have conduced to expanded view to this issue and to specific positions and thinking about actual process and way of integration of children with communication incapacity. The Working of Memory in Adults with Communication Disabilities

In spite of increasing interest at the problematic of memory, the field of memory and logopedia is "tabula rasa". Therefore I try to describe general view of memory at adult people with impaired communication ability in my paper "Memory achievement at adult people with impaired communication ability" . The aim of this work is to map memory function of these people with memory test made by myself. This test is focused on adult people with impaired communication ability and also on healthy adult people which work as a control sample.
