Low-potential Heat Produced by Temelin NPP and Possibilities of its Utilization

This thesis aims to provide an overview of possibilities of using low-potential waste heat produced at the CEZ Temelin Nuclear Power Plant. It also shows current technological possibilities of using low-potential heat sources in the primary form or as a waste by-product in leisure time aquapark, eventually the waste heat used as a source of central heat system supply victim village.

This thesis deals with laboratory pump system and its control. ADAM modules and ControlWeb system are used for connection between heat pump system and control station. Thesis deals with creation of client application for remote control through computer network and creation of communication interface. There are also included results of measurements and laboratory tasks.

Design for heating system and domestic water heating in a family house

Based on the requirements of the project, the work deals with the design of the heating system in the model low-energy family house by the help of heat pump (air / water) and solar collectors, which will be a supporting element for the heat pump. As a bivalent heat source will be used electric patrons. The design incorporates a measurement and control of heating and hot water. Everything with the help of the freely programmable control UVR 1611and suitably selected control elements. The final section is devoted to the estimation of purchase costs, operating costs and return on whole investment

Utilization of waste heat as a by-product of agricultural production with a thermal pumps

The main target of my bachelor thesis is to present the information concerning thermal pumps, their principle, application in practice and first of all the suggestion of utilization of waste heat in the field of agriculture. In the field of agriculture, the system of thermal pump water/water may be exploited while cooling milk. During the process of milk cooling, the waste heat is released which may be utilized in an effective way as low-potential source of heat in connection with the thermal pump for heating the space or warming the service water. The thermal pump is able to cool the milk simultaneously to the required temperature. By this act it is possible to eliminate the costs associated with the acquisition of a cooling device and also to regulate the operational costs. In this thesis I tried to accentuate the economy while utilizing the thermal pump.
