Specifications of Czech and foreign methods in playing the trombone and subsequent verification in practice
ŠÁLEK, Libor
The first part of the thesis is theoretical and defines the basic concepts associated with techniques of playing the trombone. In the following part an analysis of several selected educational and methodology strategies of playing the trombone is carried out. Based on a review of the available literature and the experience of teaching practice three main representatives of methodological directions in teaching how to play the trombone were selected and described. Czech methodological approach is represented by methodology of Jaroslav Ušák, Andre Lafosse and Denise Wick are the representatives of foreign authors. The following section contains an analysis and comparison of these three teaching methodologies, suggesting their positives and negatives. The practical part deals with case studies of students of Conservatory in České Budějovice. Based on the above mentioned methodological analysis, practical experience and physiological, talent and intellectual features of students, the most suitable methodology was suggested for each individual. The conclusion of the thesis focuses on the analysis of observed features during the period studied. The work concludes with interpretation of the collected data, evaluation of the efficiency of the chosen methodology and offers proposals for improvement in the future.
Airway management from the perspective of nurses in intensive care
SLANINOVÁ, Barbora
This bachelor work deals with the possibilities of establishing an airway that can perform nurses for intensive care. Breathing is one of the basic and very important life functions necessary for life. In today's advanced medicine is a wide range of opportunities to ensure the airways, or at least encouraged to perform proper function. Securing the airway is a very important part of the pre-hospital emergency care, but also on the wards in the hospital. The theoretical part of my bachelor is engaged a complex provision of the respirátory tract. The first section deals with the short description of the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory breathing. In other chapters describe airway. The following chapters were directly aimed at ensuring the airway, which were distributed to provide the tools, equipment and without indications for collateral. U airway management devices without describing the revision of the oral cavity, head bent backward and triple maneuver, shot in the back and the Heimlich maneuver. The practical part was focused on determining whether the sisters were higher competence in the provision of respiratory and how intensive care nurses provide their throughput. The research was conducted using quantitative research using an anonymous questionnaire at the hospital in České Budějovice a.s. and in the sand. The questionnaire able be completed only by workers who have graduated from specialty anesthesia resuscitation and intensive care. The questionnaire was printed and included 20 questions. Each question was displayed in a graph. The total number of questionnaires that were distributed, 100, 82 of them returned, but only 61 were fully completed and could be used. Research suggests that nurses who studied ARIP received enough informatik and practical experience during their studies. Specializing mostly work on anestesiology and resuscitation wards and intensive care units. At your workplace have aids, such as laryngeal mask airways and endotracheal tube. The vast majority of respondents have difficulty securing and aspirations in securing the airway. Sisters during their practice provide respiratory laryngeal mask and Combitubus, countless assisted by endotracheal intubation, but its remit would not want to have this power, because of its difficulty. Finally, it is important to note that to achieve the set objectives, where it was found that nurses stand to increase their competence, but only with some performance and throughput. Respiratory ensured by the air ducts and laryngeal masks.
Respiration of zooplankton in eutrophic ponds
LENDLEROVÁ, Lucie
Respiration in ponds recycles organic carbon arising from photosynthesis back to inorganic carbon. Zooplankton is most important in the process of respiration in the pond. Prior to this transformation, the organic carbon is potentially available to support secondary production. The efficiency of primary and secondary production relative to respiration is an important feature of ponds and other aquatic ecosystems. Intensive respiration in sediments often leads to oxygen depletion and even anoxia. Thus, the rates and controls of respiration are of central importance in pond ecosys-tems. The results show that zooplankton respiration make 60% or more of system respiration in the spring stage of clean water. There may be situations when it is pos-sible increase of benthic filamentous algae thanks to high transparency. Their photo-synthetic assimilation effectively balances oxygen deficit caused by zooplankton respiration and not occur dangerous deficit situations for fish which are usual in this period.
Contribution to Usage Postural System at Stripping Logopaedia Defects
ŠAFÁŘOVÁ, Michaela
This work focuses on the use of a postural system in logopedy (speech therapy). Based on theoretical knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and logopedy, it explains the influence of a posture on respiration, phonation and articulation. The work mainly concerns the head region and phonatory system in connection with posture and respiration. The possibility is also suggested of incorporating the postural system into logopedic excercises in from of correct sitting position based on the so-called ?cogged wheel model?. The subject of this study was a group of five preschool children with cerebral palsy diagnosis under the care of a voluntary association Arpida in České Budějovice.
The metabolism of selected species of predatory aquatic insects
KLEINOVÁ, Miroslava
Title: Metabolism of selected species of predatory aquatic insects. Target: The main objective of this study was to analyze metabolic rates of predatory aquatic insects, in my case dragonflies (order Odonata, suborder Anisoptera). Different instars of several species of dragonflies were observed. Another objective was to determine the dependence of the metabolic demands on the species and size of the individual, create tables and graphs summarizing the most important results and perform a basic statistical analysis. Methods: In my work I used the method of measuring the consumption of dissolved oxygen, using a polarographic determination of oxygen concentration with a membrane-covered oxygen sensor. Results: The rate of metabolism on the unit weight decreased with increasing weight and size, which corresponds to the assumptions of metabolic theory of ecology.
Respiration of spiders during satiation and starvation
KRAUS, Roman
I raised the young spiders breeders known species Lasiodora parahybana a stage suitable for the target work. The goal is to measure and graphically express the consumption of oxygen (O2) and record the value of spiders saturated metabolism during starvation. 37 days, I measured 20 spiders in 2 batches in Warburg respirometer. The spiders after some time has been to regulate metabolism and to the values of its viability. The resulting value is visible decrease in metabolism and weight loss.
Preliminary study of effect of forest management on soil biological activity in Šumava National Park
OTÁHALOVÁ, Šárka
This thesis is written as research project application. It is focused on an impact of forest management on soil biological activity in soil in Šumava National Park. This project is a part of a general study of overall impact of salvage logging on the soil - soil chemistry, microbial activity, soil animals, vegetation cover, temperature and humidity.
Metabolism of B.vagans during satiation and starvation
DENKOVÁ, Adéla
The aim of the work was to introduce an extraordinary ability of Brachypelma vagans: survive some time of starvation by regulation its own metabolism to minimum. The oxygen consumption for body mass unit was measured for 576 hours for each of eleven objects. Results were placed into the tabs and graphs and were rated. During the experiment were lost four objects because of starvation and alcaly burn.
An experimental study of initial succession on different substrata: analysis of changes in plant species cover and some soil biological parameters and their relationships
KRESÁČ, Martin
A four year experimental study of initial stages of succession on different substrata (sand, peat and gray clay overburden from brown coal mining) was carried out. The substrata were transplanted into two different landscape types in the Czech Republic. Control plots were filled with autochthonous topsoil treated with high temperature vapor. Plots with un-treated autochthonous topsoil were also established. Plant species cover and several soil-biological parameters (soil microbial biomass, basal soil respiration, exchangeable pH(KCl), organic-C extractable by potassium sulfate solution, and nitrate-N content) were measured once a year. Obtained data were mainly processed by unimodal (plant cover data) and liner (soil-biological data) ordination methods. Biological species traits (life span, seed dispersal vector, seed bank type, ecological strategy type following Grime, life form following Raunkiaer) were used to characterize early stages of plant succession. Vegetation and measured soil-biological parameters, except pH(KCl), were significantly changing during four growing seasons. Variance partitioning analysis based on plant species cover data indicated the landscape type to be the main governing factor and physico-chemical characteristics of substrate to be less important during the studied initial stages of succession. The same analysis based on soil-biological parameters showed the reverse result. Great variability of plant species ecological traits was noticed during four growing seasons. The earliest plant colonizers were mainly ruderal, anemochorous terophytes with persistent seed bank. The number of species with C-strategy type increased during the study. The relationship between the average plant species cover and measured soil-biological parameters was also examined during the experimental study of early succession. Direct and indirect ordination revealed the average sum of plant species cover to be weakly positively correlated with soil microbial biomass, basal soil respiration, nitrate-N, potassium sulfate extractable organic-C, metabolic quocient (qCO2) and negatively correlated to exchangeable pH(KCl). The relationship was significant only in the case of microbial biomass and potassium sulfate extractable organic-C. More detailed studies of the relationship between aboveground plant species biomass and soil microbial communities in initial stages of succession are required. Comparability of presented study is limited because not many experimental investigations of similar kind have been presented until now.
Příjem potravy a metabolická aktivita .i.Galumna elimata./i. (C.L. Koch, 1841) (Acari: Oribatida) při různých teplotách
Šustr, Vladimír ; Hubert, J. ; Pekár, S.
The ability of the physiological compensation of respiration rate and feeding activity for temperature was tested in oribatid mite .i.Galumna elimata./i. to evaluate significance of the increase of amylolytic activity in the whole body homogenates of mite exposed to cold acclimation. Mites were reared on green bark algae (.i.Protococcus viridis./i.) at different constant temperatures (5-30°C) for 21 days. The temperature relationships of respiration rate, presence of animals on food and defecation were compared before acclimation (quick response to temperature change) and after acclimation to constant temperature (effects of adaptation). The relationship of oxygen consumption on temperature was similar in control and acclimated mites. Presence of animals on food increased exponentially with temperature before acclimation. It was higher at 15°C after acclimation at constant temperature.
