Škrobáček, Petr ; Štefančík, Peter (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
This diploma thesis presents the design of sidewalks in selected localities in Kyjov. This master's thesis deals with the three projects. The first one is a revitalisation of Vrchlickeho street, next one deals Svatoborska and Riegerova street. The last part is a design of sidewalks in these streets: Brandlova, U vodojemu, Moravanska and Netcicka. The redesign of horizontal and vertical solution is developed and proposed based on the obtained data. These projects are focused on the increase of comfort of the sidewalks, maximalisation of the number of parking lots and improves traffic safety. It was important to connect the designed parts as roads and sidewalks to the rest of the landscape, buildings and roads continuously. This proposal contains solution of the drainage, the traffic signs, the improvement of the safety and comfort of pedestrians and persons with disabilities. Reconstruction of the cable suspended footbridge in Kroměříž
Liška, Jaroslav ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The Diploma thesis deals with the reconstruction design of a footbridge in the city of Kroměříž, Czech Republic. The footbridge would serve as safe transport for pedestrians over the Morava river. The main objective of the thesis is to conceive two or three reconstruction designs. The most suitable one will be opted for and elaborated in more detail. Eventually, strengthening of the bridge by means of additional prestressing using mono-strand post-tensioning systems is picked as the best solution of the planned reconstruction. The monostrand post-tensioning system is led under the deck, the cross section being outside. External cables are anchored in concrete blocks built around existing supports. Load-generated internal forces are calculated on a spatial bar model with non-linear first-order analysis. The calculation is executed using the finite element method in the midas Civil programme. The chosen reconstruction design is then assessed against load capacity limit states, and functionality. Also, the designed reconstruction is assed for dynamic effects. Results are compared with existing structure, and verified against the real-time tensometric measurement-obtained data. Dimensions, assessment of load-bearing structure, and structural details are all made according to valid Eurocodes.
Comparison of Open Line Track Procedures of Works
Svrček, David ; Motl, Daniel (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on design and comparison of open line track procedures of work between stations Hranice na Moravě město and Hustopeče nad Bečvou. Subject is reconstruction of railway superstructure and substructure in kilometrage 7,785 598 to 15,016 545 (except section 8,173 463 to 8,700 000) of track n°1. The target of the thesis is to optimize open line track procedures by variation of technologies and mechanization.
Design of weir reconstruction in Oslavany
Němcová, Denisa ; Smelík, Lukáš (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a design of the reconstruction of a smixed weir on the Oslava river in Oslavany town. The introduction describes the site of interest and the the occurrence of ice events. There are several types of fish ladders described theoretically. Further on in the thesis there is desribed the state of the objects on the flow and the state of the river basin in the area of interest of Oslava river. Next part of the thesis deals with the design of a movable baying structure (a hollow flap) and fish ladder type bypass channel. An impact assessment of the current and newly proposed weir on flow in the HEC-RAS program was carried out. The project also includes the basin adjustment in overweir and an evaluation of the stability of the newly designed construction.
Lost landscapes of mountain agriculture of Šumava (Bohemian Forest): reconstruction, 3D models of landscape and possibilities of their presentation on web
Polák, Mojmír ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The study deals with the model area of the village Prášily in Šumava (Bohemian Forest), which is analysed in the framework of the project "Heritage of lost landscapes: identification, reconstruction and presentation". The goal was to evaluate landscape changes since the middle of the 19th century until present with use of maps of stable cadaster, historical orthophotos, current ortophotos and to create 3D reconstruction models of the landscape and a 3D photorealistic model of the extinct village Hurka. The next aim was to evaluate possibilities of presentation of 3D models on the internet and to find an optimal solution for their web presentation. The theoretical part describes possible methods of evaluation of landscape transformation, development of landscape in the Czech Republic since the middle of 19th century, theory of 3D models, the use of 3D models in practice and the methods of presentation of 3D models. The practical part consists of two landscape models, that were visualized using ArcGIS Online Web Scene, Web Viewer and a 3D model of the extinct village Hůrka with fly- through animation. The models were created using Sketchfab, 3DWarehouse and Google Poly. Sketchfab was chosen as the best solution because of its good visuals and good display on mobile devices.
