Energy Management in Public Sector
Vosičková, Kateřina ; Tichá, Ivana (advisor) ; Petr, Petr (referee)
The main goal of this thesis called Energy Management in Public Sector is to analyze the current state of the facilities and premises of Prostějov municipality with the emphasis on power and gas supplies and the prospective changes in energy consumption. The first part of the thesis focuses on defining energy management, the role of energy manager, renewable and non-renewable energy sources, and relevant Czech and European legislation. Furthermore, it covers the strategic documents pertaining to energy management such as state energy policy, energy audits and energy performance certificates. The second part represents the practical part which is devoted to the implementation of energy management and introduction of energy management software for controlling, measuring and evaluating consumption levels, and attempts to find cheaper power and gas supplies. The data collected in the practical part of the thesis serve as a basis for a proposal ensuring power savings and convenient supplies for facilities operated or funded by Prostějov municipality.
Technical and Economic Aspects of the Thermal Insulation of Buildings
Kocová, Dana ; Kopecká, Lenka (advisor) ; Kic, Pavel (referee)
The thesis intends to create a basis for deciding the efficiency of implementation of saving measures meaning thermal insulation of buildings and for defining their benefits. This study is made on two typical objects demonstrates a development of requirements for thermal properties of the building construction and evaluates a possibility and suitability of using of different insulation methods. It proposes acts to meet current thermal engineering requirements. Performing the calculation of unit prices are counted implementation costs and return of investments for additional measures. The thesis gives investors a source material for their investment plan for buildings thermal rehabilitation and assesses the benefits.
Analysis of economic and operational-technical area of housing
Jiříková, Monika ; Gebeltová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Barbora, Barbora (referee)
The bachelor thesis Analysis of economic and operational-technical area of housing is divided into two parts, i.e. a theoretical part and practical part. The thesis describes different types of energy used in housing. It focuses on methods that help reduce operating costs and deals with modern technologies such as low-energy and passive houses, domestic photovoltaic power plants, heat pumps and biomass boilers. The theoretical part is focused on various options of heating, the consumption of electricity, gas, water and the costs associated with the operation of a house. The practical part describes a chosen family house, its heating system with the use of gas and solid fuels, and thermal insulation whose quality was measured by thermo-vision measuring methods. Further described herein is the power consumption of several energy-inefficient appliances. This part also quantifies electricity savings as a result of the installation of a domestic photovoltaic power plant, the change of electricity supplier and the replacement of energy-hungry appliances by the energy-efficient ones. This section lists individual measurements of the consumption of electricity, gas, water and the amount of electricity produced by the domestic photovoltaic power plant. All this is evaluated and the data are compared to show the difference of status before the introduction of savings measures and after their implementation.
Komparace teorií Keynese, Akerlofa a Hayeka o životním elánu
Konderlová, Dominika
Comparison of the theories of Keynes, Akerlof and Hayek about the animal spirits. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2016. This bachelor thesis is focused on finding connections between their animal spirits and the existence of the order in macroeconomics by various authors. The aim is to analyze and compare the attitude of John Maynard Keynes, George Arthur Akerlof, Friedrich August von Hayek and other relevant economists the problem of animal spirits. Work includes in particular views on two very different theories - theories of Keynes and Hayek. Furthermore, a comparison of these two theories and others theories that have evolved from Keynesianism. Attention is also paid to the views of selected contemporary economists on the issue of the financial crisis.
Efektivnost využití elektronických aukcí ve veřejném sektoru v porovnání se soukromým sektorem
Hrabalová, Kristýna
This thesis deals with the evaluation of effectiveness of the use of electronic auc-tions in the public and private sectors. Basic concepts, especially those concerning electronic auctions in terms of public tenders, are characterised in the thesis. It also describes the tenders in private sector in the form of an electronic auction. The practical part is devoted to an analysis of specific electronic auctions, which were made in this sectors. The goal is to find out to what commodities are e-auctions implemented frequently, which is achieved savings, how many suppliers are participating in the e-auction. Then, the comparison of individual sectors in specific commodities based on the selected factors.
The proposal of companies consolidation and analysis of related tax incidence
Bělová, Zuzana ; Fucimanová, Milena (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor´s Thesis analyses proposal of consolidation of 3 companies which belongs to 3 family members into 1 limited company with accentuation on a total tax incidence. It compares today´s total tax incidence with the tax incidence after consolidation, evaluates effectiveness and savings.
The possibilities electricity savings of refrigeration and cooling equipment according to the distribution rate - the cold storage
Pálka, Marek ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the possibilities of electricity savings of the freezing equipment, which would work only in low distribution rate and it would be disconnected from the power source in the high distribution rate. In this work, a total research in the field of refrigeration and cooling equipment, both technological circuits, as well as the principles of temperature regulation and food storage process is made. Another part of the work is focused on freezer testing standards and regulations. Much of the work is devoted to the experimental measurements, in which different types of rates on the given freezer equipment and with them associated the possibilities savings relative to other rates are measured. Another objective of the experimental measurement is to find out the temperature behaviour in the various parts of a freezing apparatus according to the switching time of the rates. There are overall experimental measurements evaluated and the possibility of electricity savings in direct reliance to the processes ongoing in the food during long term storage in the freezer in the unstable storage temperature In the conclusion of the work.
Saving fans in HVAC systems
Klügl, Martin ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This Thesis deals with the fans, their properties and characteristics. The Project part is about design of the HVAC equipment in the centralised and decentralised option for the assigned building. The Project part is focused on the design and evaluation of the fans more specifically. The Experimental part is about measurement of parameters and characteristics of the fans. The results are analyzed and compared. The results are compared with current energy efficiency reguirements for fans.
