Detection of biochemical substance using graphene sensor
Supalová, Linda ; Šimšíková, Michaela (oponent) ; Bartošík, Miroslav (vedoucí práce)
This bachelor's thesis studies the interaction of biochemical substances with graphene by utilizing sensors with a field-effect transistor arrangement. Adsorbed atoms or molecules can induce doping of the graphene sheet, which can be experimentally determined by observing the shift in the position of Dirac point. Dependence of the Dirac point location on the added substance is studied, as well as time response to the addition of the liquid sample. Sensitivity to different molecules is observed and the implication of the results for the adsorption of various molecules are discussed.
