Design of Vehicle Steering

This bachelor thesis primarily deals with the design of vehicle steering, as it forms one of the most important elements of the overall vehicle. The steering must meet certain safety requirements and nowadays, the driver’s driving comfort is already seen as an essential part of it. This work contains the basic kinematic settings and a summary of the individual constructional components together with their functions. To ensure the correct control of the vehicle on the road, the correct setting of the dynamic part of the steering is also necessary. Bearing in mind the electronic equipment of the vehicle that made its way into spotlight, the thesis also explains principles of the systems operations that every modern vehicle already contains. Finally, the types of gearboxes and power steering which this year’s passenger and commercial vehicles are equipped with are summarized. Based on the acquired knowledge, a prediction of the future development of the vehicle driving is presented.

Koncepce terénních vozidel UTV

Rešeršní práce, která se zabývá konstrukcí a uspořádáním jednotlivých komponent terénních vozidel UTV. Komponenty jsou hodnoceny z hlediska jízdných, komfortních a cenových vlastností v jednotlivých kapitolách práce. Práce čerpá informace hlavně z publikací věnovaných součástem automobilů a z oficiálních brožur výrobců vozidel UTV. V této práci jsou konkrétní vozidla zmíněná spíš okrajově, hlavní část práce pojednává o vhodnosti jednotlivých konstrukcí pro konkrétní podmínky.
