Heating air generator

This thesis focuses on design of device to generate hot air. This generator is supposed to be used to perform thermal tests for a company. Introduction summarizes general knowledge about ventilators, heat transport in air flow, and pressure losses. Main part of the thesis describes development of the generator. Initial design was followed by selection of suitable solution variants, design of major parts of the generator supported by calculations and overall conception of the generator. Final part summarizes the achievements and economic analysis.

Vysokoteplotní akumulace energie

Při narůstajícím podílu obnovitelných zdrojů v energetice je třeba vyvíjet technologie skladování energie, ať už jde o skladování elektřiny či tepla. Hlavním cílem této práce je návrh a posouzení vysokoteplotního akumulátoru pro dlouhodobé uskladnění tepelné energie. Navrhovaný zásobník je počítán pro potřeby rodinného domu pokrytého fotovoltaickými panely. V simulaci chování akumulátoru je využito numerických metod v programu Excel. Jedním z hlavních zjištěných nedostatků je velké množství potrubí, které je potřeba pro dodávky a odběr tepla. Tyto a další související nedostatky znemožňují jeho ekonomicky výhodné použití bez patřičných úprav.
