Tip Cascade Aerodynamics of Turbine Rotor Blade 1220 mm

The paper is focused on aerodynamic characteristics of the tip section of a steam turbine last stage rotor blade with an active span 1220 mm. The tip cascade is aerodynamically highly loaded with supersonic outlet flow at design of Ma = 1,6. CFD simulations with a Navier-Stokes code were used to design the flow structure. The results of calculations are discussed and compared with measured flow structures.
Experimental Investigation on Flow in Radial Turbine Cascade Models

This paper deals with design principles of test section for radial turbine cascades and pneumatic measurements on a radial nozzle cascade. The analysis of results od 2D and 3D pneumatic measurements including loss coefficiet values are presented.
