The objective of this work was to analyze the current situation of the technological process of assembly of LED source on car headlights and to find and propose solutions to reduce the number of scrap parts in production. The assembly technological process involves positioning and fixing the LED source with the internal designation "F-LUX" on the reflector. The assembly assures the desired optical output and the serial tact of the line. Based on the analysis of the technological process various optimizations are proposed.
