This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of the use of Business Intelligence tools in a selected company operating in the transport and logistics sector. Based on the theoretical background and the identified room for improvement, a proposal is formulated for the implementation and integration of Microsoft Power BI into the company's internal processes, in order to streamline decision-making processes.

Design of Data Warehouse and Data Structure in BigQuery for Selected Business

This master's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a data warehouse and data structure in the BigQuery cloud environment, with the aim of analyzing data obtained from Google Analytics 4 and subsequent automation of processing these data and their visual interpretation. The theoretical part of the work presents key concepts and principles related to Business Intelligence, data warehouses, web analytics, and Business Intelligence tools in the cloud environment, thus providing the necessary theoretical basis for the practical part of the work. The practical part deals with the design of the data warehouse structure and a specific design of the logical and conceptual model of the data marketplace and its implementation in BigQuery. It describes the company's requirements, extraction of data from the primary system, creation of SQL queries to obtain historical data, and creation of ETL processes for automated processing of new data. The work also includes visualization of the obtained data using the Looker Studio, resulting in an interactive report allowing visual display of data for easier analysis. The objective of this work is to provide an efficient solution for processing web and application data of the selected company using BigQuery. This will enable the company to gain a better understanding of the acquired data, thereby facilitating strategic and informed decision-making.

Tato diplomova prace se zabyva navrhem datoveho skladu pro ukladani udalosti z mobilni aplikace. Cilem bylo navrzeni datoveho skaldu, jenz poslouzi jako alternativa k soucasne pouzivanemu systemu. V praci jsou vysvetleny pojmy, jez se v ramci cele prace vyskytuji, ty jsou zamereny predevsim na problematiku datovych skladu. Dale je provedena analyza pro posouzeni soucasne pouzivaneho systemu a take dostupnych reseni v oblasti datovych skladu a ETL sluzeb. V zavislosti na vysledcich analyzy je vybrano vhodne reseni, ktere je naimplementovano a odzkouseno.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou implementace Business Intelligence řešení pro malé firmy. Analyzování dat a získávání užitečných informací pro rozhodování je v dnešní době stále více klíčové, zejména pro podniky působící v sektorech s vysokým počtem konkurenčních subjektů na trhu. BI systémy umožňují firmám sbírat, ukládat, analyzovat a prezentovat data v ucelené a srozumitelné formě. V práci jsou popsány, jak základní teoretické koncepty a metodiky pro implementaci BI, tak i samotná implementace na příkladu reálné firmy působící na trhu.
