The oscillations may lead to many types of shortenings (breakdowns) between the adjacent windings of the arc path. Zabývá se vyzařováním elektromagnetického pole (EMI) vytvářeném provozem měniče. EMI bylo měřeno a počítáno s pomocí zjednodušeného modelu. Byl uskutečněn předběžný test při jízdě trolejbusu malou rychlostí v rozsahu kmitočtů 150 kHz - 30 MHz. Výsledky měření magnetického pole vykazují shodu s Evropskou normou EN 50121-2, EN 50121-3-1.
